West Brom entering into the spirit of bringing on promising English youth players.

Boaz Myhill in goal. Craig Gardner, Callum McManaman and Jonas Olson also all playing.

They must be worried about our kids.

We're opening 1 stand behind the goal (for away fans) and the stand along the pitch, where the dugouts are. If we hit 500 I'll be disappointed. Our local paper has run a poll to see if the squad numbers add up to more than the attendance. Here's their first XI:

41, 64, 65, 51, 49, 52, 46, 66, 53, 24, 47.

That's inspired.

693 at Cambridge.
Record lowest first team attendance in the modern era. Remembered to tune in to Jonno & Doug at half-time - clearly it's serving a purpose for us, even though it's first team squad preparing for saturday rather than giving our youngsters a run out.

Not many Blackburn fans, but looks like about 1000 United fans in other photos on Jon Coleman's twitter.

6 changes for us including top scorer Bogle who is "ill"

10 mins in and our keeper is sent off for handling outside the box. Reserve keeper is on international duty so no keeper on the bench. Defender in goal for 70+ mins!

Stolen from Outlaws:

"West Brom U23's include two 33 year old internationals, a 29 year old who Sunderland paid £6million for and a winger WBA paid £4.75 mill for. That team has an average age of 22.2. The Luton 'first team' they are supposed to be playing have an average age of 20.9 yrs and one debutant"

Who's the U23 team? Disgraceful.

I'm happy with us playing a decent side. Mingoia needs some minutes after his injury and Ikpeazu needs some minutes to build his match fitness. Plus using the game to give our back 5 seems logical too since they've not played together before and they'll be starting at Blackpool.

In addition, we have some momentum at the moment so makes sense to try to carry it on.

Edit: I've just seen our defence and realised what I've posted is total nonsense. I guess Derry played Legge as he'll be "rested" on Saturday anyway. I don't get why Norris played but otherwise I can get onboard with the rest of the selections.

Down to 10 men against Norwich. As it's N''Gala I'd have no idea whether that's contrived or not.

Makes it more difficult up against Nelson Oliveira, a player capped 16 times for Portugal. #England'sFuture.:ffs:

Very disappointed it's that high to be honest, although as the four lower crowds were all during the Conference days that does make it the lowest for a competitive game in our Football League history.

I don't know of a single Stanley fan that has gone to Chesterfield tonight - could you imagine an away crowd of 0??

I don't know the attendance at Charlton tonight but reports say the have closed 3 1/2 sides of the stadium. Only the lower tier of the west stand open.

Oh, it's 0-1to Crawley at half time. Adj Yussuf on 44 mins.

I'm guessing the lower four were Staines, Uxbridge, Gloucester and Hinckley. Is it wrong of me to have been at all four of those?!
I refuse to go to this one.
