Very disappointed with that attendance. We're renowned for our shit support, then we go and embarrass ourselves by having nearly 1,000 home fans in this joke of a comp.

Well we lost 1-0 and with the blades also losing means we are both out but have to play each other in another meaningless game and play a first team or get fined.

Probably be another record low attendance and we certainly will have made a loss on this, hopefully Fenty gets the message not to vote for stupid things like this without consulting the fans first.

Some superb gates tonight, this round has done some good damage.

And you would think next round to be worse

I cannot believe we took 182 to Charlton on a Tuesday night. We'd be hard pressed to get that for a league fixture.

Still we won 2-0 and are through to the next part.

Think it might be time for to dust off the old 'Allen Out' banner for the first time this season.

Still, great attendance.

Les, I'm not sure but I think ours is the lowest ever home gate as a league side.

Likewise for Luton, according to our commentary team - 5th lowest for a competitive game in our entire history, the 4 lower all came in the FA Trophy during the wilderness years in non-league.

Orient took more to Southend than Barnet had at home. Fuck sake Orient, sort your shit out.
Comfortably the most embarrassing figure of the night, almost everyone else has done the boycott proud.

We'll take a similar amount to Brighton U23s so everyone can tick off the ground. *shakes head*

So the 6 lowest attendances were against U23 sides. Couldn't be a much better statement than that.

Going on the normal percentage of home gates, a very impressive stayaway by Pompey fans tonight.

197 Argyle fans made the 4 and a half hour trip to London, to play a "regionalised game". What a joke. I know some of our fans would of been exiles, but we still took a coach up. Competition is a farce.

Both early on in the competition. With the differing circumstances, the figure is very similar.

Apologies for letting everyone else down.

.... but we still took a coach up...

Me (stewarding the car park) to control on the radio : "Errr, we're not expecting a supporters coach, are we?" (assuming the answer would be no).
Control : " Yes, we're expecting one"
Me (incredulous voice) : "Really? Ah, I'd best send a minion* to intercept at the main road"

Oh well, it kept me and said minion* amused on our way home at 7:55 (boycotting y'see).

* I didn't really call him a minion.

Plymouth are probably a bit like us (given a similar sense of isolation) in that the people who organise the supporters coaches are like kings and queens of their own little segment of the fanbase, and that status is based entirely on the existence of those coaches, so there will be coaches, no matter how few the fans are.

Glad we won, not happy Wyke has picked up a bad injury though.

Curle made 6 changes so a couple of the fringe players got some gametime, and one of the youth players too. Miller now has 3 in 3 so he should have more confidence going forward. Also, 3 clean sheets in 4 games is good going.

We lost 2-1 at Rochdale, leading at half time but took off the remaining first teamers.

Approx 50 away fans though, which is definitely the lowest figure for a competitive match that I can remember.

That is a fucking disgrace. And after our outstanding sub-1,000 attendance in our home game as well. I despair. We have more than our fair share of thicko c***s, which goes a long way to explaining the baffling proportion of our fanbase with their tongues still firmly up Becchetti's shitty arsecrack.

This has probably already been posted, but what a load of nonsense...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37544161

SH: "It is the misconception this competition was being utilised to bring B teams into the Football League. There are more games, but more than 42,000 attended the opening games compared to 29,000 last year.

With double the games and half the revenue. (1,312 per game this season; 1,813 last season)

SH: "If we end up with two-non EFL clubs in the final, I suspect it will be disappointing for the 48 clubs in League One and League Two. The same question is not always asked of the Football Association, whether they would be disappointed if two teams from the EFL got to the FA Cup final.

As far as I'm aware, the FA don't have their own private league?

Our starting eleven last night had an average age of 21.7 - 20, 20, 20, 21, 21, 21, 21, 22, 22, 23, 28

Two of the three subs to come on were both aged 18 too. Nice for those Southampton U23s to get some good experience playing men's football, though.

JPT First Round 2015 AFC Wimbledon vs Argyle crowd of 1251 with 356 away fans.
W*nkstain Trophy 2016 AFC Wimbbledon vs Argyle crowd of 936, 197 away fans.

Not as big a drop as most would have liked but it's still something. Brilliant to see mostly low turnouts this round and especially vs the u23 teams.
