Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I personally really feel sad what has happened with this cup. Until I moved last year (and thus entered the non league support) I was one of the biggest fans of this cup. Teams should be allowed to use squads that I didn't mind, but it was still a final and cup we could all go for if wanting to.

Gave me some of my best moments with Carlisle. Now to watch it slowly die a painful respecless death due to the sheer greed ridden political voting at the top is a shame.

And when you think it cannot get worse the add another ridicule rule to mock it further next round as you lose regionalised aspects so may have had Brighton vs Carlisle or Luton vs Hartlepool etc etc.

They are lucky I think the far north teams are all out

I can't understand why it isn't regionalised, especially with the games being on weeknights. It was regionalised until the final under the old format, why not now?

Carlisle is hardly "local" to us in the first place, someone far down south doesn't appeal in the slightest .

I guess we're all Luton fans now as far as this competition is concerned. I too would like to see Luton's youth team win it, picking up fines for 'not taking it seriously enough' at every step of the way.

And then I hope they learn their lesson and give us back out lower league tropy in all it's tinpottedness next year.

Apparently 41 stags fans at Carlisle last night compared to 183 ten days ago for the league game. I would have thought we would have took about 100 to 120 for league game on a Tuesday evening to Carlisle

Cheaterfield are giving free tickets for their next home game to the ones who travelled last night. Nice gesture but can they afford it ATM?

Leicester make 10 changes for the world's premier club cup competition and UEFA are ok with it ......Luton etc make 6 changes and it's a criminal offence

I've never agreed with the principle of forcing clubs to play their strongest sides. you should be able to play who you want, when you want.

I didn't even realise we were playing until it came up on my sky sports app after the game. Happy we're out, the further we're away from this comp the better.

Come on Luton! Win it with your youths!

Just to be a pedant, we made 10 changes too. FWIW, Swindon made 3.

The only good thing about winning at Millwall last night is that we are £20,000 richer.

Walsall or Oldham at home for us. I'd of hoped for a sub 1000 crowd but now we are progressing it seems a few of our supporters are going to jump on the bandwagon.

Southampton U21s or Reading U21s (who we've already played) at home for us.

Right...as someone on the Wycombe forum already posted, if you want record low gates then check out Blackpool (who already boycott league games to an extent) vs us - in this farce of a "trophy" - on a school night.

We're currently 1-1 with Leicester's kids. I normally would want us to lose and go out of this joke of a comp, but our form is such that we need some confidence from a win. Also, the money does help.

Luton are 3-0 up against struggling Chesterfield at Kenilworth Road. Goals from Marriott x2 and Craig Mackail-Smith (pen).

Looks like there will only be one of the much vaunted U21/23 teams left in the competition after tonight and that one survivor is only because two of them are playing each other. Even better given the stated aim of 'developing young English talent' that one remaining Academy team is Welsh!

5 goals and 4 assists in his last 6 games for Marriott. Whisper it quietly but he might just be hitting the form we know he is capable of finally.

Yes, however 2 v Solihull and 2 in the EFL Trophy.

Promising though.

And have a look at the Leicester line-up. Don't seem to be many British players amongst that lot. (May be wrong of course)
