Dave Allen is back at the club seemingly now after 2 years apart so the noises coming from him is that he's had enough of letting Carson appoint shit managers and sign shit players so we might be ok until his next breakdown

We'll get 100k for Dennis probably - Notts County or Tranmere bound if rumours are to be believed.

WELl why come back now and not in January or so? Seems an odd one. Dennis would get £100k I’m sure easily. At least with the new manager you’ve got someone who knows the league which is the first correct step

The bit where Martin Allen is writing all their statements, or the bit that states Jalal is "reliable"? (Don't get my wrong, Jalal can put in world class performances, he can also put in Sunday League shockers. Reliable isn't a word I'd ever use to describe him.)

If he's that bad and still gets into the team of the season, what's that say about the rest of the goalkeepers at this level...

Most of the keepers in this league, and to a lesser degree in L1 and L2 too, are decent but simply not consistent enough to play in a higher league. Chris Dunn epitomises perfectly this inconsistently I'm referring to.

That it was the worst standard Conference in living memory, that's all. It's a dreadful league and the quality is getting worse every year.

To be fair, every time i've seen this Jalal play in the past, i've thought he's looked shit....maybe he's improved with age?

Doesn't really matter if he hasn't though, as shit is definitely an upgrade on Anyon.
