As a minuscule club looking around at the massive clubs in the 3rd tier of Enlish football, Coventry are more massive than Bristol. A JPT win doesn't change that.

Just to deflect from the Bristol City/Coventry City who is the biggest playground argument would somebody like to attempt to do a league table in order of club size for next seasons league 1 ? I've based it on more recent history, rather than going back further than is remembered by the neutral, and based the club on what I judge a big club on.

I'm guessing most neutrals who were around then remember both the FA Cup final and us being in the premier league, who is going to remember the JPT win in 5 years time other than Bristol City and Walsall fans?

A poster on that Bristol City forum just tried to use social media to determine a big a club is.

Social media is probably the worst indicator ever. I follow every league 1 club but I don't support them. I like teams on Facebook but I don't support them. Wigan would have many more followers than say Leeds just because of Premier League exposure. Do Wigan really have 160,000 supporters or even people interested in the club? No, people follow them because they were a Premier League club. Simple.

Maybe not on here - but I know a lot of City fans that share my opinion, and that's proved by the thread poll on our own fan forum.

Each to their own I guess - and with my opinion, I'm not at all disregarding the proud history of Coventry City by any means.

But there's an obvious bias. How can't you understand that? Fans of a team will obviously favour their own over another.

Every neutral disagrees with you. Surely, it's how other fans view your club? I don't think there's much of a debate to be had anymore as there's a pretty obvious answer to the question based on the neutral response.

Does this really matter? I can happily say the Blades are a much bigger club than my own yet they are (now) a division below us while B'muff are a much smaller club than many yet are Premier league.
Does it really matter who's club is percieved as 'bigger'? It always comes across as 'my dad's bigger than your dad' TBH.

Here's an idea - I'll stop you posting on the thread until relevant discussion points come in, regarding poll results etc, and if that isn't enough for you - we'll revert to other polls, and let it be determined by that, rather than you hurling insults of me 'not being in the right state of mind' and other such bullshit for having an opinion shared by many on my football club.
