Outstanding for us in our play off season (but only at home). Was hit and miss last season as the league found him out, so to speak. If left one on one he will beat the man and his delivery is excellent.

Cure his travel sickness and you've got an excellent player.

We have generally found that he will beat his man, then go back and try and beat him again for some reason. He is a decent winger at this level but he's not been given a fair crack of the whip in my book. He's only had fleeting sub appearances and was played as a striker in some games which just didn't work.

No, there's not.

I take it from your annoyance that this is a positive addition for us? Can't be any worse than Simon Heslop anyway.

The best midfielder that is currently owned by the club. Different reports from different people some saying he's refused to play for the club (I highly doubt) Others saying he's been forced to train with the youth team and now been forced out.

And to loan him out to a relegation rival is beyond stupid.

We had him on loan when we were in the league a few years back. Quality player, when we played Man U in the CC Martin Tyler said afterwards he wouldn't have looked out of place in their team that night. Really thought he would go on to better things but must have gone backwards. Lovely lad too, stayed at my place for a few nights whilst looking for digs in Aldershot.

Highly doubt he's refused to play for the club - surely that'd constitute a breach of contract and the club would be able to get shot of him off the wage bill. Also judging by his and Kyle Storer's tweets over the last few weeks, he seems genuinely frustrated at being cast out of the team. Didn't Forest Green fans suggest that Hockaday has a history of falling out with his senior players.

In any case, Verma was comfortably our best attacking player last season, I remember his performance against FGR away last year where he had easily the best performance on the pitch and it is madness by the club to let him go when we have been so obviously crying out for an calm, experienced player in our midfield recently. I'm sure Nicho will get the best out of him for Torquay.

Where's his best position? Can he play centrally in a 442?

He can do. He's been at his best for us at the front of a midfield three, or playing off the main striker. We have used him as a centre forward as well at times and he's quite effective. He's got quite a leap and is very useful aerially.

We have signed Andre Wright on a month's loan this morning. What's he like? Winger/forward, pacey and got 1 in 12 for you?

For me he's a forward and a target man, but Whild seemed to love Styche up top with Wright on the wing so he wasn't used right at all. I think he's got potential but a lot of Harriers fans would disagree.

He's got a bit of pace but loves to try and go past a man with stepovers (didn't work a lot) but he can win a header and looks quite physical.

We've signed Wilmer-Anderton back on loan from Preston. A fans' favourite from the 10-12 games he played for us last season, and started the season at Aldershot. Great replacement for the injured Ashton.

Mo Fofana's gone on loan to Oxford City - never had a look in.

I really liked him, only issue is that he's a bit injury prone which seems to be hampering him a bit, I mean, a bit surprised he's gone back down to Conf North.

When he left here (loan cut a few games short - injured) I thought he'd get himself back fit and would be a step nearer to getting a little look in at Leeds here and there. Went back out on loan to Halifax in the end, didn't seem to work out there, not sure why.

Great defender in his time with us. Was the best defender on the park in our FA Cup Game with Leyton Orient. Very surprised he has dropped to the North.

Ah that was when we had strong central defenders who commanded their area with authority. If only we had someone like that now...:hb::ffs:

Hey two out of three ain't bad.

Not to rub it DarkSithLord but we actually already have a very solid experienced defensive partnership in the form of Sean O'Hanlon and Paul Connelly already but the former is suspended this weekend.

Although to be fair, think he's proved enough at other clubs that given a run, he'll do more than enough of a job for you.

It sounds like he's been injured (again) since he left you guys, maybe Leeds see the Conf North as a gentler re-introduction to it all? Not sure.

I rate the lad, but it does look like he's been absolutely dogged by injuries.

Clearly Nolan must be impressing at the racecourse.............

I know Lincoln fans don't really like him but he's looked ok so far, and improving.

Conspiracy theories abound about Fowler, but I personally feel that Mills gave him the chance in the summer and through poor pre season performances and a unfortunate injury that set his fitness back he just hasn't taken it. I don't expect him to be back. Bit of a shame really.

You're welcome to Nolan, doesn't fit in at Lincoln now at all after initial promise when he first arrived.
