Another youngster arrives on a months loan, striker Anthony Dudley of Bury FC.

Ben Gordon is another player Tranmere have had on loan, there's been so many loan players at Tranmere over the last 5 seasons and Ben is one of the many which didn't shine.
He wasn't much good for us, but remember seeing him playing against us a couple of seasons after that and looked reasonable.

I know this is late but saw Wrexham sign Rhys Taylor. I absolutely despised the man when he played for Crewe, had a horrible big time attitude because he came from Chelsea, was completely and utterly disrespectful to Steve Phillips and walked around like he owned the place. His attitude cost us a playoff spot in 2010-11 because he made several high-profile clangers that led us all to calling him flapper.

However when he was at Macclesfield, I attended a neutral game a while back and saw the improvement made in his career. He was finally communicating with his team, he seemed to have dropped the attitude and he made a series of impressive saves as Macclesfield held out to win. Full credit to John Askey for coaching some humility and respect into him and now Wrexham have got themselves a far better keeper than Cameron Bellend. He's a dodgy keeper that'll never change and I'm surprised Wrexham even took a punt on him when they needed a quality keeper behind the sticks.

We've signed Jono Brown a keeper from Rushall. Will probably just be a backup for us

I liked Ben Gordon for us last season, thought he was harshly bombed out to be honest.

Sammie Szmodics has signed on loan for Braintree. He's a good player, could arguably be deserving of a more regular place in our eleven but for our options there being quite strong at the moment. Not the most technically gifted, but good enough, will chip in with plenty of goals and has the energy of a Duracell bunny. Should be an excellent signing in the Conference.

Shit me just noticed he's playing for them today. That's a brilliant signing for this level.

Of course he can, twice in fact. I like him, worked his socks off and was very cool and collected with the two chances that came his way.
Could we beat Barrow at home next Saturday and reach the giddy heights of mid table?

Fuck me, £8k for Kingsley James, a player who was out of contract and spent a solitary season a Chester?? What development did Chester do exactly on this player? :dk:

When will you be signing Al Bangura? Goes everywhere Hockaday does.

You offered us £4k in instalments apparently so worth it in the end, despite the ridiculous wait.

I was surprised you all seemed to think it would be less.

The most overrated player in the division. Seems to be getting found out now though.

We signed a young winger called Otis Khan from Sheffield United (also been at Matlock and a couple of teams on loan). He came on after 25 mins yesterday and looked a little out of his depth. Plus he's tiny. Wingers aren't really what we're short of either...

Scored 4 in 8 and really starting to show his quality now we're not playing him shielding the back four.

Thanks for your input though :)

Why mate? He was out of contract - we lost half our team who were out of contract and didn't see a penny for them! You had him for a year, you signed him for your first team, what did you spend on developing him?

We've just worked the bosman ruling well, he's under 24 and we offered him a contract. We knew he'd be off somewhere due to his personal circumstances, the need to be closer to home.

All little things taken in to account, from playing for a side that narrowly escaped relegation to a regular in one that finished in the top half, numerous England C call ups and Burr publically stating we'd offered him a very good contract due to how highly regarded he was here.

It's not much, but we knew we'd get more than what you offered this way.

We have signed Dale Tonge this morning.

Torquay and Chester fans remind me how bad you think he is?

We have just signed James Caton on loan from Shrewsbury, probably as cover for Adam Smith who has just gone out on loan to Guisley.

I live abroad so I haven't had the chance to see him play. Going off what others are saying, he has a decent amount of pace, pretty skillful but not much end product. Having said this he hasn't had much of a run in the first team so it sounds a good move for him to get some game time under his belt. Best suited on the wing rather than down the middle I've heard.

Not bothered about Smith going out on loan clearly needs game time. As for the new lad not sure we need him even with Smith going we have Logan for cover

Outstanding for us in our play off season (but only at home). Was hit and miss last season as the league found him out, so to speak. If left one on one he will beat the man and his delivery is excellent.

Cure his travel sickness and you've got an excellent player.

I think Halifax is the only place he managed to successfully cross a ball more often than not. Everywhere else, he's not really done it. Certainly not the worst player ever and will improve Guiseley.

In other news, Trinity have signed Adam Drury who was on trial with us. That's two trialists that they've had off us (Bignall being the other one).
