Do you think you'll bring many in? Looking at your squad I think maybe a striker and another centre half? It's difficult to find a balance between bringing it quality but not upsetting the dressing room, something which Johnson will no doubt handle better than pennock.

Do you think you'll bring many in? Looking at your squad I think maybe a striker and another centre half? It's difficult to find a balance between bringing it quality but not upsetting the dressing room, something which Johnson will no doubt handle better than pennock.

I'm expecting a centre-back/right-back (Keith Lowe has been mooted) and another forward. As you say though, it's crucial that they fit into the team and squad ethic that we have at the moment. Our best teams have been exactly that, a team. Players who socialised together away from the pitch, this one is no different to the one we had in 11/12. The difference is that we don't have a proven bottler in charge this time, but a proven winner.

I agree as well FGRJC, it's fantastic news. Honestly believe that if he gets into the squad and comes on late to score, it will be the biggest cheer at Whaddon Road for some time.

Jordan Connerton was hugely prolific in the season we beat Lancaster to the title in Unibond North in 09/10. Got a move to Crewe that didn't work out, but there's undoubtedly a lot of talent there and only 26. If he settles, he'll score goals - no doubt about that.
