He's pretty shite.

However, he's played regularly and finally started to look a half decent player in the last couple of games, so no doubt he'll be a revelation (and score against us in the Trophy).

Confirmed that we've signed Heslop, which seems very pointless. Nolan will likely return to Lincoln now, even though he's better than some of the midfielders Mills has been fielding and most fans want him in the side.

We've also got Rhys Taylor until the end of the season which gives us half a chance, class goalkeeper.

Taylor was a very important bit if business so pleased with that. Hopefully Heslop will give us a bit more experience in midfield. Hopefully he has some leadership qualities as those are what we urgently need.

I'd like to see Nolan stay as even with Heslop we are light in midfield. Bit odd what's happened to him really, he was starting to look decent until he got injured.

Some exotic sounding signings there! Jordan Connerton is okay, but doesn't look anything more than a bog standard Conference North striker to me.
Connerton isn't even good enough for Kendal!!!

Jordan Connerton was hugely prolific in the season we beat Lancaster to the title in Unibond North in 09/10. Got a move to Crewe that didn't work out, but there's undoubtedly a lot of talent there and only 26. If he settles, he'll score goals - no doubt about that.
He's looked pretty crap the first 2 times he's played, looks like James Dean will go at the end of the season, not scored all season but was prolific the first two, Jansen's doing his best to piss him off!

Surprised we're seeing Nolan back, tbh. Unless something's agreed for something permanent as opposed to a loan extension.

Dissapointed Nolan has left. After 1 or 2 shakey games he started playing reasonably well

Not sure what it means for him now because even a manager/team who suits him down to the ground in terms of playing style doesn't want him.

Maybe another NW based club will take a punt? I can't see him getting much game time at SB, esp with the way we play, it really doesn't suit his style of play.

All we need now is Blissett to go and it will pave the way for at least one striker, preferably one that will add some quality, unlike Reid/Blissett.

Blisset has come to the end of his loan spell and leaves.

Jon Nolan has had his contract terminated by mutual consent.

Toby Ajala signs until the end of the season! Very happy with this, good going forward and defensively for us last season although a little peed off how he left in the summer, all will be forgiven if he keeps us up though!

I don't really get this signing. We're desperately lacking a quality central midfielder and we've signed one who couldn't get in the side.

We have released Nolan today, a decent midfield player who can pass a ball, that and his attitude is why he has been released, wonder if there's a chance he might end up at BP? I still think he would prefer a team nearer his NW roots.

I think he'll stick to the NW to be honest, he never seemed to settle here and I think he was still commuting to us.

Would be a decent signing for Macc or Chester if they can afford him. No idea what happened to him here as he started off well, got injured and that was it.

No need for him at Macc, already got Turnbull, Whitaker, Whitehead & Lewis fighting for the starting spots. Danny Rowe has also played there last couple of games, and we've got Chris Churchman who can't even make the bench.

We seemed to have picked the best crop of the talented players previously at County, don't need a pleb like Nolan coming in thinking he's all that.
