Apologies if its already been mentioned, but Wrexham have signed Mark Beck.

A giant striker on loan from Yeovil, ex Carlisle and Falkirk.

He barely completed a tackle this season let alone seriously injure anyone, completely ineffectual for us, watch him fire you up the league now!

Marcus Holness from us to Altrincham on loan; punishment for beating us earlier this season.
Didn't go to the Alty game, but by all accounts Holness had a mare. Perhaps as he'd hardly featured pre-season and had been out injured for the last 3 months of last season. Did ok at the Grimsby game, got injured again and not heard of until now. Hope it works out for him.

Sounds like a Brabin type of forward.

Watch Mills play him at centre back, just like he did Jon Shaw for the final dozen or so games last season. He loves a square peg in a round hole.

Waide Fairhurst left Torquay this afternoon. He seemingly has personal problems and needed to leave. Was a good signing on paper but he's never played for us and has been a total disaster. With a tiny budget, our two proven players and highest earners (Luke Young and Fairhurst) won't pull on a yellow shirt at all.

Tyrone Marsh has also left today, for Dover. He handed in a transfer request and we let him go. As our only goalscorer at the club, many people are seeing this as a sign that we're happy to cut back and save money.

Four days left of the window, and barring a few miracle signings, we're pretty much resigned to relegation.

Whenever Fairhurst leaves a Club he seems to go down the 'personal reasons' line.

He's a strange one Waide only ever really "settled" (i use the term in the lightest of views!) with us. Askey said he would have kept him this season but couldn't afford to, though there are rumours he wanted rid after his stupid red card at Halifax towards the end of the season which cost us a vital 2 points. A fit Fairhurst i'd have back in a flash, but there's not a chance he will be this season now, needs a good 2 months pre season to be in a decent shape.

It says on BBC Dover paid a fee and signed him on an 18 month deal? I thought they had a part-time budget?

When I first saw the picture on the story I thought they'd signed Fleetwood!

What a shit day. I despair. It isn't even that Marsh is that good, but he was someone who could find the target occasionally.

They also train three times a week, I believe. 'Part-time'.

No real point in Dover as a football club anyway. Average below 900 and this is during the best time in their history.

We have today signed Obi Anoruo form Gloucester City, he got 19 goals in the Conference North for relegated Colwyn Bay last season but has struggled to settle down south.

Another attacker is expected to come in later in the week - wouldn't be surprised if it was Hattersley but we will see.

He's not going to pull up any trees. Another that was useless for us, and has been ineffective on the few times he's been back since.

I know he was awful for you guys but I'd take 19 goals next season in a heartbeat, only on an initial contract until the summer so if he doesn't perform then we can get rid.

If you had seen our striking options this season then let me tell you Anoruo won't be any worse.

Josh Rees signed for Torquay until the end of the season on loan from Forest.

We had him training with us a week or so back, along with a couple of others, but nothing came of it.

I remember Anoruo playing in a very poor Stalybridge side a couple of seasons back. From what I remember, he was quite pacy but short and slightly-built.

I think he has bulked quite a bit which has probably helped his game.

We've signed somebody called Reiss Greenidge. Never heard of him but he's only 19 and is 6'5. Sounds like we could have done with him on Saturday as our defence was bullied by Freddie Ladapo ffs. He's shite.

From what I have read from people who probably know more about it - this is a pretty severe personal tragedy, and if correct, and he wished to leave, I can support the club's decision here.

We've signed Ben Jefford from Welling apparently. Full back who will be well known to Jamie Day having played under him there..

In which case, justified on this occasion.

He signed him for on loan for us last season. Was dreadful. 100% won't be good enough for League Two. Hardly think he's good enough for you league!
