No, of course it isn't, because we don't have the budget that Grimsby or FGR have. The fact is that Hurst has been in the Grimsby job for five years, he's always had a strong squad but still hasn't got you back in the Football League. A top-class manager would have done it, just as a more capable manager would have made more of FGR's budget.

I don't disagree, but you could also argue that FGR have a bigger budget than we do. Hurst definitely has his faults but then so do the majority of the managers in this league, or they wouldn't be down here. And if the 'top 4' budget Fenty tells us we have is accurate then I suppose he isn't technically failing.

Aden Baldwin being the player. Never seen him play (he's never played a league game) but good to see our academy starting to unearth gems. Quite a few Championship clubs were chasing him apparently. Hopefully he does well there and we profit from any sell on clause.

Yep Alabi and Bell confirmed, as well as Lloyd extending his loan until the end of the season.

Happy with that, plenty of options up front, too many if anything.

Gave 100% for us whenever he was on the pitch and in the first couple of months he was brilliant but it seems he couldnt settle down south which is a shame - guess it was one of those moves that didnt work out (very similar to Barnes Homer)

He played the second half of the pre-season game at the Meadow and looked good in that even though we managed to lose to Brimscombe, which is only time I can recall seeing him play. As you say, great to see the academy succeeding in developing a lad's career.
