Aaron O'Connor has now signed permanently for Stevenage. Not happy, a class finisher who could have been a real asset in the run in..

Welling have signed Luke Wanadio from Staines. Seen him twice this season, was clearly too good for the Isthmian Premier. Thought the Football League was a step too far but I can see him doing quite well for Welling.

Amazing what a decent amount for a 16 year old can do for the club. Love this from a Gloucester fan:

"I see Cheltenham are spending more money they don't have again as they gamble big time. Will be in trouble if they don't go up this season"

Bitter much?
Great news coming out of the club !!!! Mira have renewed their sponsorship again, on course to make a decent profit this year, and we aren't even in the top six of the wage league. Pretty good I think,

Hearing Evan Horwood to Grimsby. We had him here in L1 and he would be a really good addition at this level. Defensively not the best, but going forwards he will support the left winger (or could even be the left winger). Takes a mean set piece too.
Sounds like the perfect replacement for Conor Townsend so I'm happy with this. We definitely needed a good attacking leftback.

About the closest we are going to get to a transfer deadline day deal is the fact we have extended Pavey's loan from Milwall until the 3rd March.

Best Torquay can now hope for is that they bottom out in the Conference South. Really pity the fans with them signing Racchi.

Apparently no more business for us tonight. Satisfied with the one signing we've made but overall our squad is worse off than it was at the start of the month.

Interview with our chairman today.

Haha so because your chairman says so it's true Haha.

Dale Vince has previously said we don't have a big budget but because he's our chairman that must be true! :brill::crazy::crazy::crazy:

I'd trust Paul Baker with my life. He's not a billy bull-shitter. If he says something about the club's finances then the chances are it's true.

I'm not sure if it happens in the National League or not, but I assume it's the same as the Football League, whereby clubs are given a breakdown of where their budget sits in the division. NOTE: No other details of other clubs are given, so he won't know which particular clubs have a higher budget than ours, it will simply say CTFC have the 6th highest budget.

That's how we became aware we had the 12th highest budget in League 2 a couple of years ago.

Interesting, I never knew that happens.

Hurst appears to have settled for play offs which is just fucking magic.

What sort of title contenders end January with less players than they started with in an already small squad?!

Seems sensible to me. Why pour money down the drain chasing an impossible dream. Rotate around, try out some youngsters and make sure all your better players are ready for the play-offs.

We've signed George Marris on loan until the end of the season from Barnsley.

Don't know too much about him, but he seems to have had decent reviews.

Yet again another winger? We need central midfielders to give the backline some cover and to help provide more ammunition for the forwards (or should I say wingers).

Scores a fair bit for their u-21 side including free kicks! Can play through the middle off the main striker, we'll see.

Thats a slightly twisted view, Macreth Brown and Venney were not even in matchday squads so saying we have less players is whilst true, twisted just a little.
However i agree we are definately light on numbers and could do with some more.
