Just Coughlin missing as reserve keeper for us, I think.

I'd be keen to know how many fans think their team's got stronger/weaker this summer. Going purely off names I recognise, Lincoln, FGR, Tranmere, Torquay, Barrow, and maybe Gateshead and Macclesfield look like they've strengthened, but nobody else (don't know about the promoted/relegated teams).

Also, I've counted 14 players moving to league clubs from this division - that seems higher than usual, and maybe teams are more willing to take a chance on players at this level now?
We certainly have better quality this season but with so many changes I expect it will take a while to develop into a 'team'

We've strengthened up front BUT lost 4 defenders. While youngster Evan Gumbs is good enough to be at least a squad player, that still leaves us brittle at the back.

Few more outs for us to add to that list: Craig Hobson (Altrincham), Ryan Higgins, Tony Thompson

Be interesting to see how Walker fares as can't see him starting ahead of Carver and Gonzales but could be a very effective impact player.

We've signed Josh Wakefield, ex Bournemouth attacking midfielder. Anyone know what he's like?

Had a trial and resulting loan period with Walsall last season, and Yeovil before that.
I haven't seen him for a while, but I remember pre seasons gone by when he was a bit younger, he's a neat and tidy diminutive technical midfielder.

We have signed Gibraltar International Striker Adam Priestley. Formerly of Guiseley, Garforth and Farsley amongst others. Has impressed in pre season but we are still woefully short of numbers.

His form seemed to drop off massively in the second half of the season.

He's a strange one, scored three goals against us but didn't actually look very good. Hardly scored at all after November.

Not that this helps but he scored a load to fire me into Conference North on Football Manager when I did a Farsley save. Now have a soft spot for him and hope he does well.

We've just signed ex-Braintree midfielder Anthony Edgar, also striker Chike Kandi, who's just been released by Brighton after spending some of last season on loan at Bognor.

Just announced we've signed Giancarlo Gallifuoco. Never heard of him but he's been through Spurs and Swansea's youth setups and made a few appearances in the A-League last season. Like for like replacement for Macdonald I would have thought.

We've re-signed Paul Benson. Not sure what to think to be honest. Also someone called Corey Whitely.

Delighted with resigning Benson. We needed an experienced forward and he'll be a great help amongst the young ones. Corey Whitely sounds like a typical Still signing. Scored a bucketload of goals for Enfield so he'll be another nurtured to hopefully make the step up. More than sorted in the attacking areas now. Just need a defender and then I'm very happy with the squad.

Rhys Taylor signed for Fylde. That's ridiculous, he's one of the best keepers in this league nevermind the one below. Does come across as a mercenary though so shouldn't be surprised.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Yes he's got a bit of a nest egg from back in Chelsea days but surely he could get better than that.

Maybe the nest egg has run out, hence the move to Fylde.

We've signed 18 year old midfielder John Roberts after he appeared on trial for us. His name was never disclosed to supporters so it's difficult to work out what he did for us in the friendlies.

Apparently we have finally signed a right back! 19 year old Wes Harding, a Birmingham City academy product.

Quite the opposite actually pal. I was never complimentary to him during his time at EFC and was amazed we didnt offload him during the summer, after we had shipped him off on loan to Aldershot after xmas last season.
That said, he came back pre-season and played really well. Then we go and sign Ryan Bird last week, so 5 strikers were too many and RL was the one deemed surplus to requirements. He certainly wasnt the worse of the 5, but was probably the cheapest to offload....I expect Ryan Bird to go out somewhere on loan soon too..either him or James Constable...
