Well he cant get into our team yet, and is clearly going to be 4th choice.and someone we throw on with 5 mins to go, as a targetman for the long ball.

Why did you sign him then? Already having 3/4 strikers and signing another is strange to say the least.

I genuinely don't have a clue, we were all amazed at his signing given we had several strikers already on the books.
I suspect an agent said i can get him, so we said, who? oh ok, go get him then....They probably knew that Lafayette was going to be pushed out, i suspect Yemi will also go and dare i say it, but Constable could also go mid season..So there could be method in the madness.
I've seen Ryan Bird come on the pitch in 2 games now, and i honestly don't think he's actually touched the ball once in either of those game. Bizarre!

That is an unbelievable signing at that level, but his problem is he is a constant crock or he would be in a top end League One club now. Was great for us.

Reda would still be at us if he wasn't always injured. Big risk as one wrong move and he'll be out for months and he'll be on big money I imagine.

Yeah, Eastleigh definitely didn't offer Arnold more money than we did...

Ridiculous.

Reda Johnson is a ridiculous signing for anyone in this league. But Eastleigh don't just piss money away though before anyone starts.

If he could play 40 games a season Reda would be playing in the championship, can't see him staying injury free unfortunately. Will probably get 10 great games from him and then be on the treatment table for the rest of the season

Yeah ever since our promotion season in 2012 his legs turned into biscuit. Cannot believe he's signed for Eastleigh though, but he's probably on bigger wages than what he'd get at a League Two club.

Don't know what you mean, Eastleigh don't pay out shit loads more on players than other clubs.

Liam Hearn sacked Ilkeston off, presumably due to their off field issues, to sign for Alfreton again.

York fans. Marvin McCoy - any good? I know Wealdstone fans rated him highly and he played nearly 100 games for Wycombe, been unattached since January.

We now have McQueen, McLean and McCoy in our ranks. And McMahon as manager.

We signed ex Norwich youngster Reece Hall-Johnson

Know very little about him other than he spent pre-season on trial at Dagenham & Cambridge.

The burning question is did Raymondo actually mean Dagenham and Cambridge or did he confuse Cambridge with Redbridge. If it was the first one, to make it clear he should have put "he spent pre-season on trial at Dagenham & Redbridge and Cambridge."

That would have cleared up all this unnecessary confusion.

To be fair, it's been far too long since Dagenham and Redbridge merged with another side. Merging with Cambridge would get them back their league status at least!

Don't think your going like what I say,I said when you signed Winfield,he is quality far to good for that level, well McCoy is other level should be playing pub league,we paid his contract up early and don't think he has played since, also 3 managers all dropped him and transferred listed him during his time here but nobody wanted him. Ps how is Winfield doing?

Very happy with this signing. Think we are looking very good now. The Goalkeeper jersey may still be an issue but we are looking extremely strong in attacking areas. Cant wait to see the return of Clayton and Hearn up front!

Things looking pretty terminal at Ilkeston I fear?

Where does Evan Garnett now fit into your team?

Well right now he is something of an impact sub. he game on in all the friendlies and played the final 10 minutes against Stockport. Adam Priestley is still injured although I think he might make his league debut tomorrow against Curzon. And with Liam Hearn well documented injury problems he might get plenty of chances to impress. He has good movement and was a threat during pre season.

Jay May has gone to Hastings on a one month loan.

Reuniting the Frannie Collin/May partnership which scored 50+ goals in the Ryman Premier.

I have got that impression, don't worry. ;) perhaps he's one of those who will perform at this level and then flop when taking the step up.

Winfield is an absolute beast. Scored on Tuesday as well, very good finish from just inside the box on the turn!
