Joe Healy is now back from traveling and officially signed on.
One of our best players last season and has experience at this level as well...Gonna be a few weeks before hes fully match fit, but otherwise this is great news for us.

Not sure if there are any Boreham Wood fans on here, but they have just signed our youth midfielder Aaron Kuhl on loan until January.

Slightly shocked he has had to go all the way to non-league to get a loan tbh. Two years ago he was our next big thing, we rejected a £2m bid from Man City and he started playing some games for our senior team.

Had an unsuccessful loan period for Dundee United last season, but he's still only 20.

Could/should be far too good for this level.

I know we were looking at Kuhl early early pre-season. Guess GW was happy with what he's got.

Blake Davies has gone out on loan to Aberystwyth Town until next January. I can't say that I know much about them, or the standard of football in the Welsh Premier League, but at least he will be getting some games in as he is unlikely to feature anywhere near our first team at present.

Bet he'll shove a stick of dynamite up those oxygen thieves over there.

Good luck Craig.
Seconded, good luck to him:2thumb:
Good honest pro who was the best of our terrible central midfield last season.
Be surprised if he signs for them long term with his missus being pregnant.

Sounds like just what we need. The trouble is even if he does well someone else will probably be in for him instead!

He'll certainly be an improvement on what you had on Saturday (assuming that was your first choice midfield). Will get around the pitch better than Jones and will keep it nice and simple, ticking over.

It's a bit of a backhanded compliment really, but I thought we missed him when he was out injured for us from about January/February.

We've signed Bradley Reid on loan from Wolves for a month (initially). Gerry McDonogh has extended his loan from Forest.

Hard to believe Reid is still only 20.

Shame for Bakare being out for a bit, but that's a decent upgrade there. McDonagh will benefit from playing with someone a bit more capable too.

Not sure why Mills has gone off Harrad so quickly though. Is he a bit injured or something?

We've loaned out young defender Jon Moran to Altrincham. Good prospect apparently.

Third player we've sent out on loan already this season.

Southport sign another one of our players on a month loan - Callum Howe.

Like Stanley, not had any minutes here so far this season but been in a couple of squads. Decent enough signing for Southport. I've found it quite difficult to judge him really because he was in and out of the team last season, partnering 2 or 3 different CB's so he's not really had a consistent run with one particular player.

Bit unlucky really the youngest of last season's CBs and certainly no worse the unholy trinity of Beevers, McCombe and Waterfall.

We'll take what we can get. I get the feeling Andy Bishop went to the Cowleys begging after Lincoln spanked us last week!

Jonny Margetts confirmed to Scunthorpe. How bizarre.

They'll be looking at it on the face of it that they're getting our top scorer but in reality, they're getting our 3rd striker. A striker they turned down in the summer and was on his way to Southport before we offered him a trial.

Swann doesn't have a great history with signing non-leaguer's. He signed Luke Waterfall and Terry Hawkridge with differing 'success', and we had his pants down over Andrew Boyce when he realised he'd signed the wrong centre back in Luke Waterfall.

Completely baffled by it.

All money from deal available to Danny. During day Iron upped initial bid significantly.

Could help us get in a replacement and the midfielder we've been after. Hopefully a good bit of business.

I've worked out why they signed him - 10 goals already this season is a huge return.

Really strange move. I like him and I would have liked to have kept him, but he's not a L1 player is he? Really intrigued to see how much Scunny have paid for him.

Good business for the Imps. Margetts a decent finisher, but agree it will be tough for him at that level.

We have sold Bowman to Motherwell and released Sweeney to coach at Hartlepool. I have no idea where Aspin is going to pluck a 15-20 goal a season striker from but he's going to have to.

And signed Dom Vose from us last January. Never played him and then loaned him out to Grimsby this season.

Pointless.

I think Gateshead losing Bowman will hit them harder than us losing Margetts.
