VERY happy Manny is staying, best CB I've seen this season outside of the football league. Manny with Waterfall or Hudson both have a solid look to them, personally I prefer Hudson to Waterfall but weather he can play the Mills way I don't know

Very happy with this. Experienced centre-back who has always played well when I've seen him. A very good start.

Good move for him. Wasn't disappointed to see him go as he has deteriorated a lot over the time he's been down here - and he is very prone to a huge error every now and then.

However no TUFC will argue when I say that, on his day, Downes can be solid as a rock. I think he's topped the chart for number of defensive clearances or something this season (not sure where I saw that so could be nonsense). Good in the air, but unfortunately legs have completely gone.

Fair play, hope it pays off for him.

Agreed, think that makes four of us now...if you add SledgeFGR, who is an occasional poster.

I guess this frees up Coles to resume his defensive duties, unless Ady keeps him going in a coaching role, either of which would be acceptable to me.

I was going to post this, looking for some info. Your reaction would seem to tell me all I need to know. I read he played just 4 games for Kiddy last season and went out on loan where he got injured!

I daren't voice my misgivings on the Altrincham forum, but I just really hope he isn't another unfit, rusty-as-fuck player on the slide. Tell me he isn't unfit, rusty-as-fuck and on the slide....
