Yes, but fortunately not for long! We've been starting academy players above him recently. I saw something on our forum saying that he had turned down the chance to end his contract early. Not sure how much truth is in that. To be honest I don't really blame him after what he had at Hereford and I feel a little sorry for him. He was just the wrong player and arrived at the worst possible time.

He's one of the finest midfielders of his generation. Except when he passes the ball to an opposition striker on the edge of the area. Or pushes the ball into the net with his hands when it's right in front of his head. He's been a complete liability for us and I think only made one start for us this season.

Spot on Luke and we've been doing it for a bloody long time, long before we ended up down here but it was certainly a reason why we ended up down here.

Heard at least 6 months ago that Devonshire was going to Maidenhead to take over from Drax.

Yes Maidenhead is local to Dev & he went for the job their before aswell. It's a step down and not a very ambitious club, but its a lot less travel and he can be home by 7pm every week...
Barker has only lost 3 of the 12 games he has managed for Aldershot, so i'd say for a team that was bottom 8, that's pretty a decent effort.
