Gowling will be lucky to even play for us, it's just for cover i'm sure. Happy to have somebody of that quality sat on the bench.

Toto is only 2 yellows from a 3 game ban. Gowling could well end up playing especially if we are in the play-offs

Don't know if yellows carry over but if they do Gowling also has a 2 match ban

I'd be dissapointed in Toto if he can't go 6 games without getting 2 yellow cards. It shouldn't be too difficult.

He's already got 13 in 36 appearances. So if he carries on the way he has he will get another 2 and with the potential for another 3 games I'd be surprised if Toto doesn't get 2 more at some stage.

It would take the sort of turnaround Pearson has done this season for not getting yellows, after getting 15 last season and 5 early on this season he has only got 2 in around 20 games!

We've also signed Kieran Wallace from Sheffield United on loan. Midfielder, presumably a winger seen as that is what Moyses was after before the other deal fell through.

Josh Gowling has joined Grimsby on loan. :hb:

The Club's official website:
"...after long negotiations it is apparent that this move is in Josh’s best interests and the club are begrudgingly obliged to allow it to happen."

Josh Gowling on Twitter:
"Saddest day of my career today. You've inspired me pushed me to do better, made me apart of your family and I will miss you all,Kiddy fans! Didn't want to leave but didn't really have a choice. Love you all and i hope the door will be open for me to come back"

Not the first time the official line completely contradicts what players are saying. Getting fed up with this. :err:

We've signed some lad from Charlton. Never heard of him in all my extensive FM days.

What's his name?

We have signed Luke Rooney from Luton. On paper a good signing, but needs a run where he stays fully fit. We have been crying out for another winger for ages. Brendan Kiernan, although a trier, just isn't good enough unfortunately.

Looks like Gowling's comments were taken completely the wrong way. With all due respect to Kiddy they're on a drastic downwards slope and he's had the chance to join a club that's hopefully on the up, he'd be silly not to move. Of course you're gonna be gutted to leave a club you've loved being at but when it's time to move on then you've got to do so. "Didn't want to leave but didn't really have a choice" doesn't necessarily mean he was forced to.

Todd Jordan gone to Buxton on loan until the end of the season and we've signed Jordan Keane from Alfreton for the same amount of time.
Decent player is Jordan. He is very versatile and will always give 100%. Good luck to him

Well it's clearly a money thing. If you're cutting the budget for next season, and won't be able to pay Gowling then, why not push him out now if someone wants to take him, and bring in potentially far cheaper options. Give them some competative games, and look at taking one or more on a long term loan or permanent basis.

All makes sense. Better to act now, especially since you are in no danger of doing anything this season at either end of the table.

What doesn't make sense is Kiddy hiding it when everyone knows you're decreasing budget due to those backers stopping putting money in after this season (IIRC)

I agree with you, I can understand cutting costs and getting rid of your higher earners, what the fans are struggling with is the lack of honesty and clarity coming from the club. This is the third time in recent weeks where the board have said something and a former player/manager has outright denied the claims.

Sadly he isn't up to playing in midfield in the conference, played a couple of times in central defence and looked better.

Id tend to agree with that. He can play in all positions at the back too. A decent signing though for you.

I think you two are getting your Jordan's mixed up.

DSL was on about Jordan Keane, David about Todd Jordan!

Not player news, but our assistant manager Dave Kevan has left the club to take up a role in Notts County's new coaching set-up. Danny Coles will take over the role for the rest of the season.

Keiron Morris recalled by Walsall. Shame but probably makes sense, they need to give themselves the best chance of staying up and we've got nothing to play for now. Was disappointing on Sunday but overall he's been great for us.

Bitter blow for us ahead of tomorrow. Goalkeeper Jason Mooney has been recalled by York. Time for Goalkeeper number EIGHT of the season. Thomas Flynn who was signed from the Welsh league ironically he will make his debut at Wrexham!

Big blow.

8 keepers in a season DSL mate! Wow!!!
Totally crazy. We really should have never let it get like this. Our goalkeeper issue this season cost us our place in the FA Cup. Just why we cant get a keeper signed up on a contract till the end of the season without any possibility of a recall by his parent club is beyond me. Cant understand it.

Apparently we have signed on dual registration with Consett FC of the Ebac Northern League Premier which is where he has been playing. Doesnt have a huge amount of experience. Only a stint in the welsh league and 85 appearances for Cowndebeath in Scotland. We will soon find out whether he is up to this level though! If I were Wrexham Id get as many shots of at him as I can
