Beautyman was decent last time he was down here. Has he had injury problems or am I thinking of someone else.

Hope he likes hoofball and play acting.

He was famously assaulted in this match, it was pretty much the height of the Halifax THUGGERY under Aspin. Quite amazing that the yard-dog Pearson plays in the Championship now. All he used to do in the Conference was tear-arse around like a hungover Sunday league player trying to break legs.

Gainsbrough Trinity have signed former Lincoln City player Lee Beevers and Mr TK Maxx himself Adam Smith from Alfreton.

Another bollocks decison from John. Selling one of our better players to a relegation rival. Again. Spineless c***.
Pleased to see Beevers sorted for the rest of the season. Taken him 14 months or so to get back into this position after his injury so I hope it works out for him and he doesn't break down and have to hang up his boots.

Raul Correia back to Blackpool - not good enough imo. Reece Thompson's loan at Boston extended to the end of the season, we need better so a good decision.
Molyneux, Hurst and Rooney not been involved for a while, I wonder if they have decided not to go full time?

Rhys taylor signs for tranmere on loan for the rest of the season. Lets hope he concentrates on the football as much as his recent horse betting scam on twitter

Played today. Rivalled McNulty and Buxton for size, and didn't look too comfortable all day.

Have to say I was surprised by the size of some of them Tranmere players when we played them. McNulty is bigger than my car. Very comfortable on the ball though and still clearly a good defender. I’d have him here in a heartbeat

He was massive last time I saw, he's let himself go massively since we had him. He's a proper arrogant knobhead too, I wouldn't have him near a dressing room of a side who want to win this league. Playing football comes a distant third to him after playing golf and betting on horses.

I don’t know anything about him, but it’s a shame that he’s been brought in instead of giving a Welsh under 21 international regular in like Pilling a go.

An acceptance for National League North football next season if there ever was one (and he'll score at that level as he showed at Boston).

Not a Paul Cox type of players in the slightest, mind.

Neither is James Roberts but he's here - most exiting player we have currently. Be sad to see him return to Oxford. We see glimpses with Fondop but not regular enough yet.

Lawrie Wilson has signed for Ebbsfleet from Port Vale

Dire attitude with us, was part of Bolton’s promotion side last season and on paper seemed a great signing but looked disinterested and assume was one of our top earners. Strange outcome for him as he is clearly far more talented than non league and should be in league one. Don’t know what’s gone on there with him but glad he’s gone!

Guiseley have signed Dayle Southwell from Wycombe for an undisclosed fee. Quite a coup.
Not really he was at the bottom of the pecking order of our strikers,2 goals in 32 games showed he wasn't Football League standard. A move will do him good if he starts on a regular basis something he'd never achieve at Wycombe. He tries hard and never gives up i hope the move works out well for him and he starts banging in the goals for Guiseley.

What a quality signing that is for this level.

Seen him play for both Stevenage and Charlton, and was impressed each time I saw him.

Not the most needed position we needed strengthening, but I'll take it all the same!

It's quite funny seeing our fans get the arse because they thought we were signing a striker. Nowhere did McMahon mention (when he said a deal should be completed on Monday) did he mention a striker.

We do need another one though!

Gary Roberts Messiah transfer to Chester has been completed
To be fair to Roberts he's being doing some good coaching work with kids at Blacon Thistle recently and has been getting a lot of praise for his attitude. I really hope he keeps it going but ultimately you never know what might happen with him.

Chief Exec: “It’s safe to say that Gary Roberts name has been mentioned hundreds of times over the last couple of years and that he has a large number of people willing him to do well at the club.

“Equally, there is an awareness of a colourful existence that Gary has led in recent years. What is absolutely consistent though is everyone’s assessment of Gary Roberts’ footballing ability.

“On that basis; with completely open eyes, and several honest conversations, he has been given the chance to play for his hometown club.

“What happens next will be largely down to Gary and will either be seen as a stroke of genius or madness. It certainly won’t be boring!”

Oh but you do.

I thought the football world would see sense and stop giving this complete waste of space loser chance after chance. That was eight years ago.

Tom Bolarinwa's loan move back to Sutton now made a permanent one, basically frozen out by Slade for no particular reason, final ball in wasn't always good but his running at defences won us quite a few pens and when he got thing right he was excellent but I guess as we have so much attacking threat already (1 goal in last 6 games) then Slade thinks we don't really need him.

Loved Gary Roberts when he was with us, was a cut above anything else in this division (granted, 4/5 years ago).

Osborne has all the ability to play much, much higher but I’d really question his ambition and desire, seeing as he’s back at Solihull for ‘wanting to be closer to home’.
