Chesterfield have signed 24 year old striker Lee Shaw from Grantham Town who scored a bucket load in the Northern Premier League. He has been on trial at Lincoln and had a number of suitors in the NL and NLN.
Certainly knows where the net is..interesting one

Southport have signed Liam Davies, who was with us last season and a half. They've immediately sent him out on loan to Marine. We sent him out on loan to Leek last season and he didn't even get into their team. Signed again by Jon McCarthy (who nearly destroyed us). Beginning to think there may be a grain of truth in the 'love child' theory.

Salford have signed Danny Lloyd. Absolutely ridiculous.

I reckon (based on nothing more than looking at who they've signed) that they must be spending the most money this division has ever seen. Higher than Crawley, Luton, FGR et al.
Can't argue with that.

I've only just seen this news, Gaffney & Lloyd would be a good strike force for League 1 ffs

Lad in work is a Bury fan says he has been told that Salford are going for their Keeper, Joe Murphy and Henderson from Rochdale a striker. I've heard of Murphy and he'd be a brilliant keeper at this level

PS. Sorry was meant to be in Rumours thread

Might as well keep it in confirmed transfers as when they’re approached they’ll obviously sign £££££££££!!$££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££FFS

Henderson is a very good striker at L1.

He was superb against us.

I'm already hating Salford, just throwing money around, what a disgusting fake excuse of a club.

How many forwards do Salford need exactly? This reminds me of when Forest Green used to sign every striker under the sun. It didn’t work for them because everyone wants to play. Salford can sign as many league quality players as they want, but if they don’t build a balanced team, then they won’t do anything.

I agree. Although FGR were signing has beens such as Lee Hughes.

These players are all of a great age and generally playing first team/near first team in League 1

But you're right, unless you feed the strike force - you ain't getting anywhere

You forgot that FGR had Dave Hockaday as manager, I'm sure that Graham Alexander is a better manager (unfortunately)!

Pools sign prolific Marcus Dinanga from Burton on a season long loan. Sounds like another good signing.

Looking like Salford's budget wouldn't look out of place in League One.

Aren't there any rules in the NL in regards to financial fair play, Salford are signing players that should never in a million years be playing at this level. Absolutely shocked to see the likes of Gaffney and Lloyd sign for them, Adam Rooney as well?! FFS, really hope it goes tits up for them, we don't want another bank rolled village club in the league.

No, there is now turnover/wage cap or FFP regulations in place for the National League.

Hartlepool clearly trying to sneak under the radar this season but they're not fooling me.

Going For It™ they are.

We were linked with him like 30 mins before it was announced haha, bit bizarre. Wouldn’t have been unhappy to get him, but with him jumping up another step it would be a bit of a punt, which we definitely don’t need any more of.

Shrewd acquisition. You can do a lot worse than Dinagae. He knows where the back of the net. Hard worker too. Always impressed me whenever I have seen him.
I think Hartlepool fans want to know about Dinanga, not some random player that you’ve just made up, DSL.. :ohy:
