Former Boston winger Ashley Hemmings has signed for Fylde.

Didn't he only join Salford a month ago?!

Basically, he's signed for Salford thinking he's gonna be the main man, and then they've got silly so he's asked to leave.

Yeah strange one that. Is he any good?

Will be decent at this level. Sort of player who I could envisage in a Play Off chasing side in this division.

Schmoll played 90 minutes in our 1-0 demolition of Welling tonight.
Was fairly impressed. He looked a fairly standard Conference centre back.

Couple of new signings for us:
We’ve resigned James Rowe after releasing him at the end of last season.
Chris Smith - defender on loan from Ipswich (played for Chelmsford last season)
Dominic Bernard - defender on loan from Birmingham

Weve signed Freddie Hinds on loan from Bristol City. Strangely its not been officially confirmed by the club yet but hes been interviewed at rhe ground by a third party tv station.

Signed strikers Stuart Beavon & Freddie Hinds on loan from Coventry and Bristol City, respectively. Two players at the complete opposite ends of their careers, one 34, the other 19. Beavon used to be a good striker, but he’s definitely getting on a bit now, but I’m sure his legs haven’t gone yet. His record on paper doesn’t read great the last few years, but I think he’s more a creative player, than an out-and-out goal scorer. He’ll also bring much needed experience up top.
Hinds really excites me. City rate him very highly, giving him a new 3 year deal recently. Looks like he is ridiculously fast and has quick feet. Would be nice to see us attack with pace this season. Saw the cracker he scored in the cup last season vs Watford too, so he has an eye for goal.

We've announced our 10th signing - Medy Elito. I'm very meh about this one.

I'm really not happy with this. He's been poor on trial and been completely outshone by EMC over the past few games. There's surely not much of our transfer budget left and I don't think he'll be earning peanuts either. Disappointed in Still and this limits the quality of striker we can bring in.

I haven't seen him first hand, but the general consensus seems to be that he didn't pull up any trees in pre-season. If that is true it's worrying. Even Anthony Edgar put a shift in when trying to earn a contract.

Could do with a big name striker being announced to put a brighter slant on today.

New right winger for us in Kaine Felix. He's been superb for us against Bolton and a brief outing against Leeds.
Super quick, good feet and has shown decent end product.

I’ve seen him play in all of the home friendlies - they were hard games for any forward player to shine in. He played well when he came on as a sub in his first game, whilst against Ipswich last weekend the game just never came his way. Everyone is more positive about Walker which I think is a bit of a shame considering they both had the same level of impact.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not enthused by the signing at all (I merely see it as a stop gap until Akinola returns really) but there’s no need writing him off already.

We've signed him on a 2 year deal, and he won't be coming cheap, so not exactly a stop gap.

I would rather give a chance to EMC, who has been good in pre-season. It's likely time up for at least two of EMC, Kyei and Shomotun now, which is a shame as none of the players signed in their positions look like marquee signings. Likely reduces our budget for a new centre forward I think, which is far more important.

The last bit was a major problem when on loan for us - a bit lightweight as well.

Didn’t help that teams will sit quite deep at EP.
