Ardley is nuts, both completely unnecessary.

Brindley is a quality RB to be fair and I can't believe he has so much trouble finding a league club. I know nothing about Shields.

He is, but we already have Dion Kelly-Evans who has arguably been our best player so far this season, and Matt Tootle who is comfortably League step standard (but presumably going somewhere else). We’ve got too many players as it is and Ardley isn’t capable of settling on a team.

Ebbsfleet fans don’t seem too happy at Shields leaving? Is he ok then?

Seems to be a bit of a correction online now following an earlier wailing and gnashing of teeth (essentially because we’d signed two players from this league that people hadn’t really heard of) after it emerged that people who have actually seen Brindley and Shields play say they are decent signings.

Stockport County.
If County (this County) actually sign 1 or 2 players we could stay where we are and trouble the top half/play-offs.

As it stands, we're grinding out results with a weaker team than what got us promoted.

I’ve got no problem with the quality of either, just that I don’t see them as necessary additions to what’s already a big squad and presumably big wage bill.

I keep supporting Ardley but it's getting harder. We've a big squad now, with cover in pretty much all positions with no way of half a dozen even getting on the bench.
Was hoping for a unified focussed squad but it's getting ungainly.

Brindley is a very, very good RB at this level / most likely the best down here after some game time under him.

Notts County have a ridiculous squad for this level and really should be dominating most of the teams stuck in this hellhole.

Striker Joe Piggott joins on loan from Wigan.

Now we have an extra striker I would love us bring Stott back and go 352 permanently. If that’s not possible and we’re sticking with 4-2-3-1 then we need a natural left back.

Brett Williams is at Weymouth too, so they have a decent forward line a that level

It appears we've signed Jimmy Smith from Crawley on loan. Strange one, we've got several midfielders already, he's 32 and was out with a long term injury for most of last season.

Young Blades & England youth keeper Marcus Dewhurst returns to Guiseley on a season long loan. He was with us last season from January and was a big part of keeping us out of the relegation spots.

Signed Joe Leesley on loan from Harrogate til January as Jake Kirby has decided to 'step away' from football while he deals with his latest injury.

Good signing in m view, was very surprised he wasn't playing for them when we played a Harrogate recently. Good player.

We’ve picked up Jack Powell on loan from Crawley - seems like he’s spent a fair bit of time in the NL recently with Maidstone and Ebbsfleet, so what’s he like?
