Judd was quite good for us in the first half of the season when we won the league here in 2019 and got himself a new contract with us, but then he got injured around Christmas and didn't really feature again.

Then JE passed away and since then he's never rediscovered any of his good form. A few rumours that off the pitch he needs to look after himself better - Nothing hugely drastic, but like eating and sleeping better for example and being better prepared on game days.

He’s really good, I’m gutted we couldn’t get him for the season. Loves a tackle, tactically and positionally aware, and in his short time with us has improved going forward as well. He’s got everything going for him to get to the very top I think.

Good lucky Danny, seemed a great lad in his interviews and very genuine and hope he does well. Just unfortunate we never got to see much of him with Gibbons, Benning and now Hussey in there the competition was more the issue than anything.

Did well in the pizza cup and was disappointed we didn’t get to see more of the lad.

Devonte Redmond has signed for Kidderminster on loan. If he can find the form he had for Salford he'll be one hell of a player at that level, but I'm not convinced his head is in the right place for it. Perhaps this will be a good move all round.

He hasn't played in the FA Cup for us either so could be used against West Ham.

Carrington can take him under his wing.

What we need him to do is find his feet, start enjoying football again and kick on. A top performance against West Ham would be a good start.

Confirmed a loan till the end of the season. Much needed squad depth for us and hopefully he can push for a start.

definitely this. They can car share from Manchester and the like, and its a familiar face as well.

win win situation for all involved

Dom Tear left us. Barely featured for us but we are having a bit of a winger crisis at the moment so suspect we have one or two lined up to come in if we are happily letting a winger go.

Good lad Scott, was instrumental in the covid disrupted season which saw us just miss out on PPG. Energetic and an eye for goal, if you get that Burgess he will do well for you. To put into context two seasons ago he kept arguably the current best league two midfielder (Conlon) out the side.

You are turning into Vale reserves mind!

Good to hear on both of these, apparently one of our new owners is a but chummy with your chairman or someone on your board? I'll take being Vale reserves if they're as decent as you say. Good to hear positive things. Do I remember Burgess being good in that team that got PPG'd out of the playoffs?

Stockport County.
Grimsby get a new signing or three in every week. Can't accuse Hurst of not consistently rolling the dice, the man is being backed to the hilt.

Hurst's 19th signing of the signing. I won't comment on the wages being accumlated or the loan fees or signing fees involved because I will get into big trouble. And I don't want to be in big trouble.

We've announced a signing young midfielder Sam Mclintock from Alvechurch. Sounds like the kind of signing we go for. We do have a good scout so I trust that judgement. He'll remain on loan with them and I guess be part of our plans next season.

Luke Croll staying until at least the end of the season. An absolute no brainer and good move for all parties, he’s been excellent since he came in. I’m struggling to understand how he was without a club when we picked him up at the start of November to be honest? Was he injured?

I'm not falling for this again. Well, I probably will at some point but not today.

He's brill, been way too good for Southern Central. Dominated games at such a young age. Saw him v Stourbridge and you knew he was good, didn't think clubs that far away would be keeping tabs though. Maybe a Gloucester or a Solihull move. Scout must be good.

Same scout that helped us route out such players as Vardy, Gregory and Marc Roberts to name just 3. More recently Kian Spence playing great In our midfield this season and Jamie Cooke out on loan to be first team next season. If/when we lose some players again in the summer.

Obviously add Mclintock to that list now aswell

3 important questions we need to ask you about these two:

1, Are they both ‘highly rated’?
2, Should they both ‘be in your first team’?
3, Are they both ‘gonna tear that league apart’?

Got a very bad Achilles injury back end of last season, also he didn’t get on with the manager so I’ve heard from sources and was never going to sign for us again. Lovely bloke, spoke to him many times and he took time out to have chats with my lad when he wasn’t playing so good luck to him.

Danny Rose has thankfully extended his loan at Darlo til the end of the season.

Also Alex Hunt has extended his contract at Sheff We'd so no chance, not that there was any anyway, of us signing him permanently.
