Neill Byrne from Telford confirmed. Should benefit a lot from playing alongside Pilks at the back. Someone on Telford board mentioned he paid his own transfer fee (we were never going to pay anything for him i guess) which have just been paying off his own contract.

From what I can see from the Telford forum, he seems to have played well in the last part of the 2014/15 season during Telford's good end to the season when he played alongside the experienced centre back Ian Sharps, so he could work quite well alongside Pilks.

We've finally announced the signing of Kingsley James. Fee to be agreed at tribunal.

Well happy with that one.

Waide Fairhurst has tweeted that he's signed for us, although we haven't reported it yet. 13 goals is reasonable - seems a decent enough signing for a mid-table side?

Barrow have signed Steve Williams (released yesterday by Halifax) - was at Barrow briefly on loan in 2013.
Also re-signed Paddy Lacey who was with us last season

Yeah, Waide will do a decent job.

Like I mentioned about Howe further back, he needs to play games or else he starts putting weight on pretty quickly. I was never convinced that he was all 'there' if I'm honest. Something just didn't seem quite right with him.

His wiki stats have been edited, he scored 10 in 40 for us last season I think. If you keep him fit though, he's an ok striker at this level, can see why we didn't offer him a contract because him and MBH's lack of goals in the 2nd half of the season cost us a play off place, but he is a nice guy and decent enough, better than MBH.

I hope you're feeling sheepish after that awful pun.

With all these sheep references, surely some of the Wrexham flock will soon be joining in........

I've always rated Waide, not prolific but is a very useful player... But can't argue with Askey if he wanted to replace him with a goalscorer..

Wish him well at Torquay.

With Bowman still here, I imagine Cox will look to him to be the main source of goals. He got 17 in a terrible team last year, so I'd hope for similar next season.

Quietly content with how this is going.

Wish we'd have tried harder to keep Ramsden when we had him, as he looked great everytime I saw him at Rochdale. Not sure what he's been like over recent seasons. Should be a very solid signing at this level, but you never know with players dropping down. Paddy Mac is a weird one for us, was certainly decent at times but never really fit into a 4-4-2. Overall though, we never really saw anywhere near a susatined period of quality on par his York promotion season.
Rambo scored six goals in his spell at Dale. Three of them were against Grimsby.

Weirdly, he played RB for us (played CB for pretty well everyone else he's turned out for). And alongside him at CB was Nathan The Red Mist Descends Stanton who'd always previously played at RB for Scunny...

Good, solid signing for Gateshead. And will score against Grimsby.

While I'm here, another former player has started his managerial career - Adam Rundle at Norton & Stockton Ancients. As he was a fairly skilful winger, no doubt his Norton team will play hoofball with eleven players over 6'3" (cf John Beck)

Unless he's back up for you then I can't see you challenging at the top end. He was pretty poor for us and a bit of a tit to boot.

Scott Boden been allowed to leave halfway through his contract to join an un named League 2 club.

Wish him well, our hoof ball destroyed his confidence and he just didn't seem up for the fight.
