whilst i don't agree with what he did the fact he is an adviser immediately made me think about what happened to the Scottish woman who was giving out medical advice with the SNP - she twice went to her holiday home and was stopped and warned by the police. She resigned - BUT Nicola "Wee Jimmy Krankie" Sturgeon tried to persuade her not to resign.....Fundamental difference here is that Dominic Cummings is responsible for advising and has advocated the government policy of staying home, protecting the NHS and saving lives in its initial stage. To break those rules whilst with suspected symptoms and call it 'instinct' is an insult to the rest of the British public, the vast majority of whom have followed the guidelines even if it means they were unable to see dying family members.
It's defending the indefensible if you believe what he's done is OK - this is a terrible look for the government. Keir Starmer is also doing the sensible thing of not saying anything and letting everything crumble in front of him (I said I wouldn't get political within this thread but that's it).
