Round my way it is tools squeezed into lycra, on expensive bikes panting and puffing their way through town's and villages on their tour de Covid.
I know which I find more forgiveable. I also know which is easier for the public to get outraged about....
lycra should be an imprison-able offence over a certain age or weight - at least in public....
apart from actual professional athletes/sports people

You wanna wear lycra, wear lycra. You wanna tattoo your body, tattoo your body. You wanna pierce your whole head, pierce your whole head. Just live how you want and be happy. There's a lad I always see around my way and he has a dyed green mohican on the top of his head and one of those earrings that's bigger than his ear and I think you know what, good for you lad

If you rarely leave the house, how do you know it’s ‘mainly the younger generation flouting the social distancing regulations’?

Literally every older generation in history has whined about the young being lazy/feckless/entitled/rule-breakers etc. It's been going on since at least Ancient Greece, and I think we've made some progress since then so it's clearly bollocks.

I do watch the news and i have a basic grasp of social media. Is this one of those my opinion is different to yours, and you're going to have a cheap pop at me episodes?

Besides which, why are you all concerning yourselves with a shit reality show, which was the original point, rather than the fact that there has been no sport since March 17th?

NL meeting today I think?

Rick Parry has said this morning he is expecting promotion and relegation to remain in full from PL down to L2.

EDIT - Seems his comments were based on PL and Championship, not all the way down to L2 but if there's a full quota of promotion and relegation up there, it'll surely filter down.

FYI PuB

I don't own my own house, i am out of work due to having a near fatal health scare, from which i have very limited mobility 8 months on, and i am only 55 ffs!!!

Because of this, i have only left the property i live in, once since 19th March (sure i wrote that down earlier in the thread btw)

It is mainly the younger generation who have been flouting the social distancing regulations, because they seem to think they are indestructible, they are the ones who think they have a sense of entitlement.

In other words, don't make assumptions

He says, as he makes an assumption.

What’s the point of the NL meeting about whether to hold playoffs until they know what the FL is doing

EFL states today they want 3 promoted from Championship, no discussions.

probably because the EFL said the promotion place for the play off winners might not be there this season if either the play off's don't happen or the EFL doesn't complete the season. So they have to at least go through the motions just in case somehow the EFL season does resume (it won't)

I’m just going off the assumption it will be Stevenage stop up you go up to replace bury and all sorted.

Still find it hard to believe the conference are going to have mystery playoffs 2/3 months after cancelling the season.

that's what we are expecting - although i think we'll replace Bury not ourselves...

The thing is I can't take Danny Hunter seriously. People like him are ruining the non league game by paying ridiculous wages, loan fees and agent fees which leave clubs cutting their cloth by the wayside. Although he makes some valid points, he's part of the problem rather than a solution.

Understand National League are of thinking they should wait to hear from EFL if there is any chance of completing its season before making their play-off decision. Majority of clubs across 3 NL divisions in favour of cancelling - most who want to continue would be in play/offs

I think you’ll get to the stage where league 1 and 2 gets cancelled anyway, Mansfield can’t afford this any more than anyone in the conference!

Don't think this is right as EFL are receiving bigger subsidies than the NL.

If Rick Parry is demanding 3 up 3 down across the board (with 4 up 4 down for L1/L2) then I can't see null and void happening for non league. I also think the NL are waiting for the EFL who are obviously waiting for the PL.

I think Project Restart will pass with a 14-6 majority. The PL clubs can't void the season due to the costs incurred. So no voiding will happen in the EFL and ultimately I don't think voiding will happen in the NL either.

Looks as if writing to clubs for opinions of what should happen next seems a massive waste of energy. Why couldn't they have said this as soon as the season was declared over?

Which sort of shows the raving mad lunatic Boreham Wood chairman is right and has been from the start, what a fuck on by the National League, I think everyone knew this already but they couldn't make a decision to save their lives.

Yep.

That says it all.

What a contemptable, little Tory boot licker you are.

Enjoy the Tory ride and how it goes for you and your town. Sure Boris and Cummings have places like Halifax and Stockport front of mind......
I thought this was a football forum?

As long as you don't claim benefits because nobody will employ because you choose to look like that?
