Some excellent 'efforts' all round, although a few of you didn't quite get the memo (yes you Orient!!) Hats off to Grimsby and Leicester.

It would be great to take zero fans to West Brom for the dead rubber in the final round.

Could happen.

Even when Swindon win, they lose. Your official twitter account put out some great stuff.

Next up for us is a game at Stamford Bridge, which I won't be going to. Hope we lose.

Our official Twitter account is a disgrace, the very definition of tinpot. Rest assured that most of our fans share my feelings Mr This.

Don't kid yourself they wouldn't be crowing if they had won. The twitter account is almost as cringeworthy as those 6-in-a-row t-shirts for sale in their club shop.

But why, just why?
Anyone who makes that trip on a Tuesday night to watch that is madder than a box of frogs!!
When was the last time you played them? At least a couple would go to tick it off. Plus there's got to be at least one Gillingham fan in Birmingham.

So that's 3.

Early 2000s, maybe about 2002 without checking. I happen to know of 2 Gills in Brum, but neither are going to WBA.

I can't see more than 100 going to grimsby I hope there's less. We shouldn't even have to play it ffs. Both teams should agree to a training session for 90 mins.

We only 'won' because of the ridiculous new rules where a draw in a group phase is 'decided' by a penalty shoot out.

It was 0-0 and they had ten men for over half the match.

If games were drawn last year a penalty shoot out decided the result. The only difference this year is the group format.

Sendings off have no relevance - they are part and parcel of any game, as we well know.

regardless, a group competition should never have penalty shoot outs, end of story.

Last night's 'win' felt about as satisfying and uplifting as my morning shite. Just something I get on with, without making a song and dance about it.

I'd have rather won, but I'm not really bothered by last night's result. We made several changes, played over half the game with ten men, and by all accounts could have won it (I never went).

I'd normally be suicidal after losing to you lot, and my ambivalence probably says everything you need to know.

200 sold for grimsby, very disappointing. Was hoping for less than 3 figures

Apparently we have sold 30 tickets for the WBA, which is about 30 too many.

After 2 of our 3 lowest ever attendances at Vale Park (since opening in 1950) I am hoping for a mega low away following tonight!

For a dead rubber? Total madness. Should save their money and go and watch us lose next weeks replay

From our local paper today...

“We have had Charlie and Marc Muniesa with us in previous games and I have spoken to the gaffer again over the past few days and hopefully we will have a few more senior players within the group, which would be fantastic,” he said.

“We have spoken about Peter Crouch, Giannelli Imbula, Bojan and Muniesa featuring, but we will have to wait and see because the manager, quite rightly, wants to give it some thought.

Apparently we've sold over 600 for our game at Chelsea tonight, which is about 599 too many. Everyone I speak to is dead against it, so i don't know who these people are and what planet they inhabit?
