The NHS for me is the best thing about this country, and yet has been going to shit in recent years. I would rather take a change in action than to let it slip into it's otherwise continuous demise.

And... Why do you think that is so?

In terms of remaining in the EEA, that is an absolute must.

Amusing that the petition for a second referendum which a lot of Brexit-ers are kicking off about, was started by a leave voter a month ago because he feared that they were going to lose.

I know through my own work, the Erasmus educational funding program continues for as long as it takes for article 50 to complete, so that's a few years yet I imagine.

Hope so mate, I've been looking forward to it.

Can't see me having much luck with those German gals now tho when they find out I'm a Brit. :(

So she is basically throwing her toys out of the pram unless the Jocks get another referendum.

Her job is literally to carry out the will of the Scottish people, and the majority of Scots voted to stay in the EU. How can she recommend to her Parliment they do anything else?

Btw, weren't you the one who said you were voting leave because you were sick of all the foreign accents when you walk down your street? How's the latest news on likely no reduction in immigration going for you?

Because our own democratically elected government are trying to make it fail so they can push privatisation. It's not, as the leave campaign would have you believe, because the relatively small number of migrants in the country apparently all being such clumsy fuckers that they are in A&E all the time.

The NHS relies on so many foreign doctors and nurses that it's frightening. You've voted for the exact opposite of your intentions based on lies and propaganda.

I don't really have the time to endlessly argue on here, and what would it solve? I just like to pick out laughable doom and gloom posts from people like yourself for comedy value. In the last 5/6 pages I have even seen a couple of videos of Nazi Germany being posted. Get a fucking grip, it's embarrassing.

This country has sacrificed so much for democracy and the right to vote, and now some people who don't get there own way want a 2nd referendum? This is the highest ever turnout we have had for a vote in this country, I for one am proud that we live in a country that are able to do that.

Worth pointing out here that the second referendum petition was started by a leave supporter before the referendum because he was worried they would lose. Farage also said a vote this close wouldn't be an end to it for him.

So the leave lot were more than happy to keep banging the drum after the referendum if they had lost. So you'll have to forgive those of us who support remain for doing EXACTLY WHAT YOUR PEOPLE SAID THEY WOULD BE DOING.

Because you can't get doctors and nurses from abroad with an open-door migration policy? Because most of these these doctors are from EU countries? Hmmm, not sure about that Silkington.

Had come on here to post that before getting into the rest of the thread first.

When you leave a seasoned reporter totally lost for words....

http://www.joe.co.uk/news/the-exact...ews-presenter-realised-how-fcked-we-are/69317

So once again. Well done Leave. You have been totally done by a group of public schoolboys playing games with your lives based on lies and inaccurate propaganda, trying to hide behind a facade of being a protest vote against the establishment while tapping into the undercurrent of racism and xenophobia that has long been peddled by their mates in the press.

You've been fucked up the arse by Gove Johnson, Smith and Farage and they all just wiped their knobs on the curtains.

I suppose you can use those weekly £350 millions to sort it can't you.

But... of course the Leave campaign wouldn't have a plan, they're not in power, they couldn't implement anything even if they did. What sort of plan are people imagining they could have had?

Sort what?

Erm if you are campaigning for something then you should have a plan on how it can be implemented. The think tank I volunteered for had an extensive and evidence based plan on how their desires could be implemented and work. Otherwise it's pretty reckless. The leave campaigners should now be at the forefront working with the parties in charge to set out how we achieve this going forward.

It was a referendum on Leave or Remain, the plan or lack of wasn't the issue. I don't see how anyone could formulate an honest plan of action anyway, if that was the basis to your decision then you were always gonna vote Remain.

How can you campaign for something if you have utterly no idea how it's going to be implemented?

It's rather reckless at best to be taking something this important one step at a time and encouraging a nation to vote on something that you haven't a clear route forward from. A next level up from the person who provides problems but no solution.

People put their faith, trust and vote in people who promised the world with no plan on how to achieve it.

Backtrack On 'Give NHS £350m EU Money' Promise
http://news.sky.com/story/1717826/backtrack-on-give-nhs-350m-eu-money-promise

This is the point I was trying to make yesterday.

Farage was asked if he could guarantee that the 350m would be spent on the NHS, he said no. Of course he did, he's not apart of the government, the fact remains that the money is there and can be used towards the NHS. Money that would not have been available had we voted to remain.

To be quite honest the only thing that's surprising about this is that no one is questioning why Faisal Islam isn't naming the MP who he took the quote from. A television journalist who is clearly pro remain/Labour (going by his clear disdain for all things Tory and Brexit during the debates he should never have chaired) running with a jaw droppingly horrendous quote from some anonymous pro Brexit Tory MP. Off the record? Nah. Bullshit detector is singing and dancing for me.

For the record I've always been Labour and I voted remain but fucking hell...the amount of bullshit flying in from all angles here from Sky, the BBC, the papers and social networking is getting to the point where I'm thinking we're all trapped in an episode of Brass Eye. It's also proof that none of us should've been given this decision to make. Still...Pandora's Box is open now. Dirty bitch.

Long term gains.
I haven't seen the news so correct me if I'm wrong, but one person's allegedly said there's no plan so we're taking it as gospel. Is that what's happened?

The NHS is not going to see any increase in funding from a government involving Nigel Farage and never was. I'm not certain on a lot of things that may or may not happen in the next few years, but I'm fairly certain of that.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think anyone on leave has actually come out with a plan yet so it's hardly unimaginable that they don't actually have one. In fact the only plan I've read is from the captain on here.

In addition to the above Nicola Sturgeon is also honouring an SNP election manifesto pledge.

Politicians actually do this? Anyway, they had their chance and they blew it. They must have known that there was a high probability of an EU referendum taking place, soon after they voted to stay in the UK. No bloody use moaning now.

How involved is Nigel Farage?

He's not even a member of parliament.

Yes I was, and I cant change it, same as the sweaties cant change either of the referendum results. Get over it.

He may well be soon enough. Unfortunately UKIP are cashing in on alienated Labour voters (which is fucking bizarre to me personally) as an alternative to the Tories.
