Very few clubs prosper if the chairman and board aren't professional and in good shape.
Late payments and sacking a manager at this time don't bode well, where's the organisation? Quite a few teams do the two relegations in two years thing and it always seems to be because the boardroom have no strategy, then panic, spend loads, turn over too many players, panic some more , sack another manager, then run out of games, at which point the chairman realises his financial commitment is unsustainable and tries to sell the club to anyone so long as he can stop haemorrhaging his own money.
