We're charging £14 (£15 on the day) adults, £9 (£10) over 65's and free (£1) under 11's for Saturday.

Carlisle fans will get the North (covered) Terrace plus a section of seating in the East (main) Stand.

Build a statue around by the club shop but it did take a while raise the funds for the sprosan statue.

That was when we had to pay for it as our owners were too tight!

Newport will have to try hard to bridge the gulf in class between them and Maldon and Tiptree.

Maldon look far too good for step 4 and their record so far this season suggests it. Some of their players could start for L2 clubs IMO.

Not too sure about League Two, but certainly National League..........

Their RB and front three were all very good against ourselves.

They've invested alot of money there.

They're pretty much intertwined with our U23s side and the players shift back and forth between the two quite often. I think Wayne Brown is still a CUFC employee and probably our next manager to be honest. He was in charge of our U23s and Kevin Horlock was the boss at Maldon, then we decided we'd move more of our kids there for the senior experience and Horlock and Brown swapped over. I think we're hoping they'll go up another level or two so our U23s can then get that experience at a higher level.

Here's an article from last summer: https://www.cu-fc.com/news/2018/may/horlock-takes-u23s-as-us-eye-loan-opportunities/

Maldon look a very decent side. The right back and Ngamvolou in the middle both look very good players. As does Slew.

Bad injury for Howkins. Looked like he was having a seizure of some sort. Hope he’s alright.

What an awful match. Newport should have been ahead by half time but my god it’s been dire stuff overall.

Podge sure does love a goal against tinpotters, used to do it every week for us in the National League.

Let’s hope Kyle Howkins is well.

Great cross & finish for the goal. Dire at times in the second half.

Don't be fooled by their record, they've started like trains in 4 of the past 5 seasons.
Think it was about 3 seasons ago now they were at one point 15 points clear at the top only to fuck it up and finish 2nd on something crazy like 103 points. They then lost the play off final.
They've lost in the playoffs 4 seasons in a row now and have firmly earned the tag of bottlers of the Isthmian North.

Does it whenever he plays against Grimsby too!
Can’t really argue with that to be honest!

Just checked and he’s started against us 6 times and twice came on as sub since Hurst decided he wasn’t good enough for League 2 and scored 5 times.

Paul Hurst didn't think he could head a ball and dropped him after he missed a chance.

PH really was a pillock.

I’ve lumped on Mansfield at 3/1 to win at Shrews.

They impressed me last week.

Newport weren't great - But they were everything we're not in terms of resilience, not great to watch but fought for the whole game and were organised for well over 100 minutes in the end.

Any news on Howkins, a fairly routine head clash but caught him in a bad area, hope he is ok.

Webster starts... cue Carlisle fan meltdown in 3... 2...

Beech's first starting line-up is as follows, and I'm speculating heavily on who goes where as I have no clue

_________________Collin__________________
Carroll___Hayden____Webster____Iredale
G.Jones____M.Jones___Scougall___Thomas
____________Olomola___Loft_________

or possibly Carroll and Gethin Jones the other way around. Haven't the foggiest how Thomas will be deployed but he could possibly be switched to the left

We look a bit more attacking than how we set up against Crewe, with Matt Mills rested and Aaron Collins in.

Carlisle equalise after we gave them the ball, good work and finish though. Sounded like Cumbrians were crumbling a bit just before we cocked it up, though have probably created more chances than us this half so fair dos.
