Finally, we get a decent cup draw. We have no chance of winning, but its more about the day out and the cash windfall than the result. It should set us up nicely to strengthen in January and push on. All this in the same week as we announced the main stand will finally be finished, and the RW concert.

Its a good time to be a Vale fan again.

Also a chance to show how massive we are with the huge away following we will take there.

Incredible draw for us and long overdue! Should take as many tickets as given and make us shit loads of cash... worth taking an on field fisting for!

Happy with Burton Albion away?

Mixed emotions, mainly disappointment at first! But the group I go with are all still planning to head up on the train so will be a decent day and I expect us to take getting on for a thousand. Decent chance of getting through as well I think.

A draw i reckon. Burton supposedly good for beer so I reckon will be a good away day regardless of the 'meh'ness of the draw on paper.

Barnsley have knocked us out of the Fa Youth cup and Women's fa cup, I'm not sure there is any point in us beating Eastleigh on Tuesday to be honest.

We wont beat Hartlepool so the carrot of a trip to Oxford is more like a turnip.

It's a fucking rancid draw isn't it? The authorities really don't like us; away at Yeovil first round, we turn up there and they call it off 25 seconds before k/o so we have to go back there 3 days later. Then we get you away. Great stuff if we make it past you & Yeovil with all that travelling and postponement shenanigans, go on give us a reward.....pretty please? Yay!!! Pissing Oxford away in a 3 sided crap ground in front of what'll be around 4000 fans with virtually no chance of getting a result. Club has made it 15 quid for tomorrow night, can't see many takers with what's at stake in round 3. What a fucking let down.

Been given 8000 tickets for Citeh priced at £10 for ST holders and £15 for Non ST holders...

Decent pricing and allocation, should easily sell out.

Im not convinced we will sell out, but 8,000 means that everyone should get one who wants one.

Easy sell out, we did at Villa for example at 8000... issue is the ST holders can get 2 so worried I will miss out!

same here, but I think we will be ok. I think we will do well to take 7.5k unless some Stokies want to see some decent football :ohy:

Eastleigh at home tonight. We've not played a game since we played them last whilst they've played twice since, not sure if that's a help or a hindrance in truth. Important game especially for the financial rewards. The more money we can get in, hopefully the less we are going to need to sell anyone come January.

We drew away against them in the cup a couple of seasons back.

They stuffed us at home in the replay in, probably, the most inept performance I’ve seen from STFC.

Can see the same fate for us tonight. Bad performance, result and an empty ground.

I will be furious if they lose tonight. Don't care how bad the performance is, just win. Simple as that. Everyone was excusing the 2nd half in the first game, saying "we're in the hat". Fair enough, well win the replay then.

Eastleigh aren't great away from home, have picked up 1 point from 2 bottom 4 teams in their league since we last played them and have been playing Sat-Tue-Sat for a month.

Absolutely zero reason not to win. Just get it done FFS!
