Hopefully Gloucester beat Hemel Hempstead tomorrow and our numbers come out of the bag together for the next round, home or away, don't really care.

Reasonably Impressive performance from us to dispatch of Salford City and finally get a win against one of the better team in our league albeit in the cup.

Danny Lloyd was great as always but the likes of Clarke, Meppen-Walters and Amis really stepped up to the plate this afternoon. Hopefully we can put in the kind of performances we have seen in the past two games on a regular basis.

Very happy with our 3-2 victory over Lancaster City, a potential banana skin narrowly avoided. Having won vs Darlington in the last round, there was little doubt that Lancaster were going to be a tough opponent - which showed as we trailed 2-1 at the break. Two Harriers goals shortly after half time allowed us to gain control of the match - it could easily have been more than 3 goals in the end from a Harriers perspective, but we saw the game out and into the 4th Qualifying Round we go!

Great result Stockport. Thank fuck you knocked out the TV 'darlings'. Won't have to put up with the media drooling over the class of 92 and all that bollocks again. Hope you get all the way to the 3rd round and do Man City.

Ebbsfleet 7-0 Havant.

Havant were in good form coming in to this and have had a decent record against us in recent seasons.

Sluggish opening stages but once we got into it there was only one winner. They went down to 10 after conceding a penalty at 2-0. Was dispatched and we didn't look back, four goals in the second half rounding off a great victory.

With our recent form, I can't see sides wanting to come here.

Not that it matters as we'll get Hemel, but I wouldn't be upset with Harrow or Hendon at home

I've been following this year's tournament closely and as it stands Bishop Auckland are the only side definitely through that were in it right at the start, though Hadley can join them if they pull off a bigger shock in their replay v Eastbourne (also 2 more clubs yet to play their 3rd qualifying round match, don't have the names to hand but will update when I do)

I'd be happy with an away draw at Kidderminster Harriers just for the pies and that Bathams bitter they serve up down in them parts! Failing that an away day anywhere not in Tranmere's league.
I see Spennymoor town are in the draw. Wouldn't mind avoiding that place as i once went to the now defunct Spennymoor utd for an FA cup 1st round tie back in the 80's and the natives were non too friendly.

Westfield are through too, them and Bishop Auckland I believe are the two Step 5 sides definitely through.

-------------------------------

Wealdstone 2-1 Banbury United (Att: 457)

Game of two halves, first half we were 1 up, had all the possession and territory but like the week before kept trying to walk the ball into the net.

Second half was the polar opposite, Banbury equalised with a scrappy goal and then we just went into our shell - hoofball and no cohesion. Thank God for a Banbury defensive error allowing Elliot Benyon to square the ball for Sahr Kabba to score the winning goal in the 88th minute.

Ah yes I see them now, they were one of the 2 I'd yet to see having played their match, them and AFC Mansfield (who went out 2-1 to Stamford it appears)
So it's Westfields and Bishop Auckland definitely through, and Hadley also in the draw.

Inevitable that we draw Ebbsfleet today. Hope we get Faversham or Margate though

I hope not.

The way we're playing, I'd fancy us against anybody but don't want you or Maidstone. If we have either of you at our place, we'd probably only be able to allocate 400 or so away tickets. Maidstone away would also be a pain because they're bastards for allocations.

Home game against lower ranked side, or away game at a new ground for me will do me nicely.

There goes our chances of a decent local derby. How have the FA made a 24/40 split to the North/South as well?

Westfields away would be a good local derby for Harriers I'd have thought?

24/40 does seem ridiculous but then to make it 32/32 clubs like Leiston would have been added to the Northern side of the draw which is absurd to be quite frank.

We've been handed kind draws since the 2nd Qualifying Round last year - this morning is where it ends. Home to Potters Bar or Bath City is the prediciton.

Someone on our forum suggested "

Ourselves, Solihull, Kettering, FGR, Westfields and Gloucester could all move north making a 30 /34 split"

Makes it a bit fairer And you could maybe swap FGR or Gloucester with Brackley.

County v Bishop Auckland

Seeing how many northern half sides are above us, getting a home draw against a team a couple of divisions below us is great. I'm sure they'll be delighted with it financially, too
