Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
We drew 1-1 with Consett, them scoring in 90th minute, annoying but i'll take that because i expected a bananna skin yesterday with Curzon struggling for home form and the usual FA Cup magic working.

more confident in the replay, think they missed their chance, Curzon are alot more confident away from home.

Copied and pasted results from the FA site to preserve the draw numbers. Normally the FA release the draw in order such that regions are grouped. Numbers may or may not be preserved for future draws (as becomes the case from the 4th qualifying round onward).

There are big differences in the sizes of regions, but they seem to make sense, partially based on sides who were knocked out. The difference in region sizes could represent a number of things, such as the number of teams who came in at the 2nd qualifying round in each (maybe they were evenly spread) or the number of teams who applied and were accepted to begin with.

If I've got it right then it might remain 4 regions with some manual shuffling, or possibly go to a straight North/South as it is in 4th round qualifying. In that case I expect Alfreton to go further south. Beyond that it's either us heading in to that midland group or, more likely, Brackley pushed into the South-East group.

Hope your right that we go further South! Its ridiculous that we are in a different segment compared to Ilkeston who are only around 5 miles away. Matlock aside we have no local sides in the North section and some very long trips.

We're in a different region to Kettering (or at least it seems) - something I would like to preserve for the next round. We've got them in the local cup on Tuesday night, so I could easily see us being paired together and the game taking on a whole new tone.

Nantwich drew 2-2 at home vs Marine. Steve Jones with the equaliser in injury time. They seem to have a better away record so still a decent chance of making the next round.

beat Sutton Coldfield of the Northern Premier, 3-2 away, with a last minute winner. Hoping for a lower leagued club at home for the next two rounds, but we shall see.

Lincoln United drawn at home to lower league opposition Handsworth.

Hoping for a Lincoln derby in the fourth round of qualifying.

Away at Hendon.

A curious tie. We played them a couple of seasons ago and lost 1-0, but that was before they moved grounds. Also the 'keeper who played for them that year played for Concord on Saturday!

Morpeth Town at home for us. Certainly no gimme, they won 4-2 at Blyth on Saturday, and beat Hereford in the FA Vase final last year. Hmmm

Way at Spennymoor, likely to be a tough game, but hopefully we should be good enough to go through, may need a replay though.

The FA confirmed on twitter that this was split north/south

Feel lucky to have been in the southern section as the northern holds more troubling teams IMO, and the number of teams wasn't balanced between north and south

Terrible draw for us, level above and going really well in their league. oh, and its bloody miles away.

That's about average for this stage. Very few teams left from step 5 and below, and a good number of step 2 teams. A side one level above is a reasonable draw at this stage, not fantastic but not terrible.

We're both in a similar position, underdogs with a chance to go through.

Away to Kings Lynn.
Its a long way but I am ok with that as it somewhere a bit different and from a different league. (About bloody time!) Great chance to pocket 7.5k.

Shame we didn't get Hereford away, that would have been fun.

Must not complain though as another home tie against a side from a lower league isn't to be sniffed at. Banbury will be well up for it though and given our Jekyll and Hyde performances there's a strong possibility we could be sent packing.

Would of fancied them at home, or most clubs at home at this stage. It is winnable, be really happy with a draw. Also, because of how the fa cup draw has been and the fa trophy draw, we will be away for 8 saturdays running, which is crazy.

Best of luck to your lot in the next round.

I forgot the trophy was starting soon! Frankly it's luck of the draw and the fixtures secretary for your league. I imagine any team who lost a home Saturday game facing you guys would be unhappy for the reduction in revenue.

Best of luck to you too. I'd be more than happy to meet your lot in the 4th qualifying round!

Apparently since the draw was made all hotels in Lancaster and Morecambe are fully booked. Apparently only the really posh expensive ones left.

Didn't realise we had so many fans :eyes:

Wouldn't chance it what with the tendency for Tonbridge management to go windmilling into Stones fans! Solihull at home that weekend too.

Curzon got through tonight beating consett away 1-0, read like there was a very good crowd tonight at Consett, plus curzon were down to 10 men at 0-0, did well to battle through.

Didn't know which one to laugh at first.... nice of you to only tell part of the story about the 'windmilling' incident.... the prat who threw the coke deserved all he got (yes, I was there, right next to it all)..... and then one of your own 'fan's not knowing you're at home that weekend.... mind you he more than likely still thinks you're playing at Central Park.... but tell him to come along to Longmead anyway, it'll help boost the coffers....

I'm so sorry for not studying the fixture list, I didn't realise that was a prerequisite of being a fan. I just look up who's next, so Torquay away on Saturday. Is that better?

Much better. No need to apologise. See you at Plainmoor then?
