Tough tie against Tranmere at home.

If the game goes to a replay, which is very likely, then we will have to play Tranmere away twice in a week as the replay will be the week commencing 13th December and we're away there on 18th December, which will mean we'd end up playing each other 3 times in one month.

I've already been to Prenton Park 10 times, could be up to 12 by Christmas.

They are 4th bottom of L1 so probably aren’t brimming with confidence, so normally this would be a game the L2 side could spring a surprise… but then we are the worst team in the football league, so you’re right they’ll comfortably beat us. Its dream draw for them really, a simple passage through to round 3.

Ahead of this draw I thought our only chance of progressing was drawing a non league team. Any football league team and we’re out. Disappointing.

I seem to remember the same thing happened about a decade ago, when we beat you in a replay at Brisbane Road.

We have Crawley away, Bristol Rovers away (Friday night), Orient away, and Exeter away in the next month. A punishing schedule, not least for the regular away supporters.
