There was 8,000 (total attendance) there at Wembley to see them play Fylde in that play off final. There was never any interest there in the first place, just media hype.
In the 1st round, Horsham brought approximately 10 times the number of fans to Carlisle as Salford took to Dagenham.

well it is technically a non-league side vs a non-league side.

The only bonus of it being on a sunday evening is that it’s appeared to have buggered up the spireites plan for a sesh day on the saturday

Could not be less excited for tonight's game against Bradford.
Feelings mutual, at least you aren’t wasting your time though going all that way when you know you’re getting knocked out.

Shame we can’t send a white flag down instead.

Really don't want us to go through considering what we are to face in the second round. How boring.

But then again, I don't particularly want us to lose our unbeaten run.

Meh.

I couldn't give a fig about the unbeaten run. Rather we had lost a few if it meant we had won the same number and therefore had more points.

Simply because it's the longest in English (professional) football at the moment I'd like to keep it going. But I agree I'd rather we didn't have the longest run and won a couple more of the draws even if it meant losing some.

We've put a relatively strong team out, but our strength from the bench looks incredible. I've never seen us have such squad depth and quality. We could field two completely different starting 11s most weeks and both would be very competitive.

We've named an unchanged side from the Vale game. Can't wait to lose this, get smashed on Saturday and have Adams blame tired legs. Beautiful.

Well we're starting with 10 men as Alex Gilliead somehow keeps his place.

Which is daft considering Newport aren't even in the comp anymore, I could understand the first game.
He cannot play in the replay, but if you manage to beat us tonight, he would be able to play in the next round

Half time, 0-0 and it sounds pretty even...I think. We've a new commentator who sounds like Ben Kinglsey reading an audiobook of Macbeth.

But apparently - "We've put a relatively strong team out, but our strength from the bench looks incredible. I've never seen us have such squad depth and quality. We could field two completely different starting 11s most weeks and both would be very competitive."..................so it really doesn't matter at all.

It's the Huddersfield commentator Paul Ogden. Stepped in as Jamie Raynor had to cover the Yorkshire Cricket Club mess today as Jamie is the Cricket correspondent for Radio Leeds

I'd rather games go straight to pens and just ditch the need for extra time.

Got a goal, defended very well by the sounds of things and had some fortune on our side after they hit he post three times, but it matters not, Lincoln here we come.

Pleased for the Poolies, will certainly give them some confidence coming down to Sincil Bank. Will probably a bigger gate now it’s not versus Wycombe too.
