To be fair it is loose metal from advertising hoardings hanging down that could fall off. The roof of that kop stand isn't exactly low. The main stand is old and not worth fixing. The debate about moving is back on.
Do a MK Dons and move to groundshare with Wigan

Not sure I like Taylors decision to rest so many first team players. No strikers, a fairly second string back line, bit questionable.

The repetitiveness of scoring, missing a shed load then instantly regretting those misses as we concede for the millionth game is unreal.

2-1 Exeter. Stays like this and I pick up a decent bit of money. So easy.

Serves Derek Adams right to be honest. Standing in front of a free kick, absolute shithouse manager.

When your opponents make seven changes and you still can't win.

Well we should have been out of the tie at half time. Credit to the lads in the second half though, what a performance that was.
Adams must hate the sight of us

It was their best line-up bar a few injuries against our second string side to be fair until we made those subs.

1,850 sold for Walsall with 350 left on general sale.

Chances are we’ll outnumber the home fans!

Burton Albion away Saturday, oddly the cup defeats have seen sales stall a bit, think a couple of hundred left so may take less than we did Oldham but should be around 1700 or so.

Obviously we have no strikers fit but our reserves gave Rotherham a good scare so this is certainly one we could win if we perform well enough and take chances, just want to avoid a replay mainly though, with the injuries we have (annoyingly all to the same area of the pitch) we could do without the extra game at the moment.

Would do full XI for this though

Cambridge on Saturday then, not sure how many we will take given the short notice and how many games we've played recently. 400ish?

Just having a look at the televised fixtures. Friday and Saturday look good, but safe to say I won't be tuning in on Sunday

Hartlepool sold many for Saturday? Not too many sold in the home ends looking out our online ticketing, although with the Lincoln Xmas Market on, not too much of a surprise.

750 sold as of yesterday, a good win last night, new management team I’d imagine the final 250 will go, parking somewhere is gonna be a nightmare ain’t it?

Shrewsbury at home.

I have some hope, it is the FA Cup after all. Form out the window and all that, and they're struggling in L1 so we've probably already played better teams than then in L2.

It's another free hit for Keith Millen and after the Walsall win I think he said he'd rather just keep going in the league but still, a chance to work on his best team. Also its a chance to maybe give us a bit of a lift if we can reach the third round and get a good tie.

I asked on our forum yesterday. Why is the FA cup still a big draw for away fans - even in the first 2 rounds - than it is if you’re at home?

There’s some good away followings coming up yet those at home can’t be arsed.

Cheaper tickets making it more affordable as an away day maybe? Whereas its more expensive for home fans than usual if a season ticket holder? (we have this weird quirk that under 9's are free for league games but a fiver for cup too)

It is years since I can remember getting a freebie with my season ticket, from memory we used to get an occasional cup game or a pre-season home friendly, but that has gone since we were promoted to the Football League...when we mysteriously changed from being supporters to customers...don't remember ever being asked for an opinion on that matter, but should probably have expected it.

However, the first couple of rounds of the FA Cup are definitely cheap...same in the League Cup...so I agree with you about it being affordable, it is a pity that more people don't take advantage. Contrast that with England Women's internationals where tickets are always priced reasonably, the Keepmoat looked pretty full (superb atmosphere too) for the game last Tuesday...fair to say that those who did attend were reasonably entertained. Building up nicely for the Euro's next summer, expect games to be well attended, just gutted the organisers seem to have bypassed the West Country when it comes to choosing stadiums...Ashton Gate would have been a perfect choice!
