Great tie as you say, Kettering have been good this season as well so they'll fancy it. Plenty of talent at the top end of the pitch for them to call on.

Including a certain Nile Ranger…

Isn’t Bruno Andrade at Kettering? Went downhill for him big time.
Yeah he was there in the second half of last season, left, and is now back again.

He dropped a bollock by signing for the money at Salford, going down a division instead of going up (or to a bigger L1 side). Mind you, word was he got himself into a bit of a pickle down south and became a Dad so perhaps his head hasn't been in it for a while.

Indeed, and a selection of very pacy wingers who will cause anyone a bit of bother. Wouldn't be surprised to see them back in the National North before too long personally.

Very jealous of that trip to Curzon; I remember sitting on the fence there with a couple of tins watching the game, probably the only aspect of non-League I truly miss. Give the Prince of Orange a visit, decent boozer nearby.

We've got Vegan Hamas Rovers, thankfully it's at home, don't know much about them these days other than they've got ex-Hatter Harry Caldwell and his amazing hair.

They had a decent side back then - the tall CB with a long throw, Seddon, Dempster, Boucard. Think they went pop two or three years after that, they must have spent some serious money on their squads under Ladak (who's now in jail/been to jail?).

His problem with us was that Frank Sinclair made an accusation against a guy in the crowd of racial abuse, which they denied and their Chairman got really salty with it ahead of the replay (which they won 2-1 with a last minute winner). Made all sort of bizarre statements in the lead up to that game.

Mark Cooper was manager at the time as well, that's where the Cooper/Lincoln beef comes from, not because of FGR and battling them for the title.

We were always have damien reeves when we were conference, though he had a business as well - he had a decorating business round these parts - as knew a mate of his so the money wasn’t worth it etc - they’ve had it rough and we’re down at NPL for a season.

Think we pretty much always beat them too after our first season

and Ben Tozer, who, lets be honest, had an absolute nightmare when he played for us at your place.

Looking forward to it, I've seen tectonic plates with a smaller turning circle
If you ever want to, check out the goal from Andy Cook when Bratfud played us at our place. It was like watching 2 oil tankers turn on a sixpence. Jesus.

Boreham Wood away, lost there twice in two seasons in our non league days, they ALWAYS raised their game against us in the four games we had against them, although at our place we beat them 1-0 and drew 0-0 in the reverse fixtures in those two seasons.

At least its local I guess.

Some Barnet fan has described us as a 'crap League One club' and easily beatable. Half term has started early..

You got your wish !
and so did my mate who is a Weston fan and works in Bristol with gasheads. He can’t wait for this. Great tie for you both.
Yes banging draw, WSM must fancy their chances just as Chesham and Boreham Wood did at our place.

They dont usually put it on TV when the bigger club are at home, but going by our bad home cup record they bloody well should

Barnet fans are a weird lot. They tried to get some kind of rivaly going with us in the conference, seemed jealous that our fans were locked out of a few games.

I have hardly thought of them since. Hope you smash them though

BBC 2, Saturday evening. Lovely. Consensus round here is Kettering have chucked some money at it so this could be a tricky old fixture.

What an odd set of fixtures

really surprised by the northampton game and i am (but sadly not) the wankfest over wrexham, neither games are of interest in fairness.

That said hopefully we’ll be regular time against curzon

As soon as I saw an article on the BBC about Nile Ranger before the draw and then to throw up a local match that hasn't been played since 1989, albeit with us at home. I had a feeling that the BBC would pick us.

Hardly a surprise Wrexham has been picked sadly, despite it being a dead game. Was half expecting our game to get picked up but we never seem to be favourable in cup tournaments. Our Carabao Quarter Final against Man United didn't even get selected for TV, must be one of the few Man U cup games not to be on TV

I've only just clocked on that ours is a 7.15pm KO, what's that about?! Surely 7.45pm or 8pm would have made more sense.

Northampton vs Kettering makes sense to me.

Obviously we know why Harrogate vs Wrexham is picked but it really is a dreadful pick.

Happy about our game not getting being on tv nice 3pm kick off, assuming I get tickets I’ll go to that then meet some mates in Manchester afterwards.

They often do that for FA Cup games, although the reasoning why is a mystery to me.

i’ve done horrible feeling it’ll be one of those lame sunday games,

Obviously more than happy if it’s a saturday as everyone will be up in manchester.

Those saying Harrogate v Wrexham is a dreadful pick are right...

but it means I can watch it from the comfort of my own home, so happy days.
