Think a better team in L2 would've beaten Liverpool quite comfortably last night. They were there for the taking without a doubt.

I thought their kids were decent to be honest. Certainly better than sides in this league. Credit to them. Yes we probably should have got the win but that's football.

Wycombe don't look on it today from what I've seen so far. Poor so far. No upset going to happen here.

I'm looking at this and I don't know how Wycombe score any goals. Maybe an off day but I'm shocked by the lack of pace, movement, physicality, skill or anything for that matter up front.

This is an absolute dream for a struggling Aston Villa side.

They basically niggle their way to victory, which is not enough, even against arguably the worst Premier League side of all time.

Was talking about that this morning, probably agree. Think a different team would have pressed right from the off, and avoided the individual defensive mistakes which lead to the two Liverpool goals.

It saddened me last night how much of the focus was on money. Exeter aren't a rich club, but the funds from the Matt Grimes transfer have brought with them a bit of security for a year or two. Beating Liverpool would go down in the history books, £750k and losing at Anfield will not.

However, if they win the replay... ;)

Maybe these 'better teams' should have made the 3rd round then so they could have had the opportunity.

I'm looking forward to the Wycombe v Villa game as well :bg: Can't be at the match so i'll be watching in my local pub in Wells supping Somerset cider. Would love to cause an upset but with our keeper Matt Ingram suspended and striker Paul Hayes out injured it will be tough, wouldn't mind a draw to be honest for the much needed money that's so vital for a small fan owned club like ours, saying that if we attack from the kick off and unsettle them you never know we could actually beat them if like Liverpool last night they play a weakened side and don't respect us thinking they're going to walk it because we're a League 2 side, whatever happens i'll enjoy the chance to see our players taking on a Premiker League team even if it's one as poor as Villa are this season.
good luck Wycombe and Mowgli

It's a close run thing at the moment, I'd say that Villa are worse simply because they are not a newly promoted side like Derby were. This will all change if Garde can lead them to a couple of league wins!

I'd say Wycombe deserved a replay today, Villa were unsurprisingly there for the taking.

My heart goes out to any Dagenham fans who saw that they'd equalised on Sky Sports, and spent 5 minutes waiting to hear who the goalscorer was, only for it to turn out to be fuck-up by Sky Sports' graphics department.

Our keeper cocks up again to deny us a 3rd round win.

Financially it was a cracking result for us which is what counts being a small club in League 2 :bravo: i'm well happy with the result and the 2nd half performance. We played a Premier League team and didn't lose so i'm well chuffed. :woo:

We looked really half arsed in the first half which amazes me, if we can generally be relied on anything it's to come steaming into things early doors, but it looked like we were only putting in as much graft as we would v (insert indifferent L2 club name here).

Ropey penalty, there wasn't any intent there but oh well, we got the rub of the green.

And Lordy lordy but we didn't timewaste at all, I can't recall our last game w/ less than 6 mins stoppage time.

The Villa fans were predictably livid, this is quite the rant with language to match:https://m.facebook.com/groups/2216399463?view=permalink&id=10153843880489464&_rdr

Pleased with our score being respectable. Everton were pretty comfortable throughout though and we hardly threatened but we played well. Great day out, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Everton fans were silent throughout though. I know we're hardly a big draw but you'd think they'd create a little bit of atmosphere.

We bossed Ipswich today at Portman Road and really should have won it. Goalkeeping error from a free kick gifts them a replay that neither of us want, really.

Still, we're in the hat for round 4!

31,000 there. That sgould ensure you a decent enough pay day from it.

Looked a foul to me an elbow across the face when your trying to punch a ball normally gets pulled up.
We Made one mistake the whole game for their and it cost us.

1-0 Swansea. That was completely undeserved - very nice move though with quality showing.

Very impressive from Oxford. It's only an unbelievable goal that has Swansea on level terms. Oxford have been far superior, a good advert for league 2.

This has been a cracking match so far with an atmosphere to match(which is not that easy at the Kassam).

Every team in L2 would love to have Kemar Roofe in their side.
