BBC sport at its patronising best yet again

Absolutely, they clearly staged that interview with Klopp in some random kitchen to make it look as though Exeter don't have a media room or hospitality suite.

Exeter should believe... we took a stronger Liverpool side than this to penalties at Anfield, so they're easily capable of beating them at St James'

Was thinking the same. Surely they don't always do interviews in the fucking kitchen!

Clearly the BBC's idea to make it look more "romantic".

Just an insulting team selection from Klopp.

To be fair to Klopp, they only played on Tuesday - They then play again this Tuesday as well in the Premier League and have to play another midweek game the next week after that.

Plus they have 13 players out injured, I'd probably have picked a similar team.

This I don't have much sympathy with. Most lower league teams have similar schedules at various times of the year.

This I have a bit more sympathy for but still, shit happens.

I bet if this was a PL game they'd be a better team out. Not that I blame him mind.

Liverpool are just testing out how Greg Dyke's B teams in the lower leagues idea would work in practice. So far it looks like they'd hold their own.

2-1 Exeter!!
Direct from the corner, keeper should do better but it was a great ball by Holmes.

I've only caught the last 15 minutes, but Exeter have been all over them. Regardless of the young team, Liverpool would still be expected to progress but I genuinely can't see it.

It's been a pretty even half. Exeter started well, Liverpool got better and Exeter finished stronger.

Let's just hope they hold on (and join us in the fourth round)

I've also seen it mentioned that Liverpool have played more games than any other Premier League teams. Well Exeter have played 4 more league games and 2 FA Cup games so total games played this season must be fairly close between them and Liverpool yet you don't see Exeter sticking their reserves out.

Hope they go on and finish Liverpool off from here.

Think Ipswich have made seven changes for our game tomorow they've already published thier team and formation for tomorrow. shame our defence is suffering with injuries. Starting a midfielder at centre back isnt going to help.

Liverpool do look like a team of kids now - looking rather lost.

EDIT: Good usage of the subs there by Kloop.

Joe Maguire, last seen playing for Orient against Luton in the JPT, during his loan he was kept out of the team by Frazer Shaw...

Well played Exeter, but golden opportunity to be in the 4th round missed.

Should have won the game comfortably, but will now probably lose at Anfield and find themselves out.

Lol Klopp can add himself to the Van Gaal camp of moaning about the pitch. The pitch was fine, your players just couldn't deal with it any better than Exeter's players.

Thought we missed out there. Can't really complain as we're going to Anfield and are going to earn a lot more money. It's annoying though as before they got their second equaliser, I thought we were looking like we could get a 3rd. Proud though, we played well.

Thought Exeter should of won by 3/4, both scouse goals were very sloppy and the type us lower league sides concede to the top sides ! And we get punished, but never mind it's all about the £££ for us in the cups , enjoy what we missed out on anfield!!!

Great result financially for Exeter but if i were a fan id be disappointed to be honest, thought Liverpool were very ordinary indeed and by and large Exeter had them at arms length. 2 pieces of sloppy defending aside it would have been a pretty comfortable victory.

Also can someone remind me what the fuck is the point of EPPP? If thats the best Liverpool can offer with all the advantages that there academy is provided by that load of shit then we have serious problems.

I hope you fucking stuff them, what a dickhead Klopp is treating this essentially like a training game.

An angry Carlisle fan, well I never.

It's very sad to see what the FA cup has become - when even drawing the English team most preoccupied with the idea of romance in football amounts to that. An entertaining enough game in itself, played at a League Two standard. All the comments and thoughts after the game re-emphasise that to many people, football is primarily a way to earn money (to pay footballers).

It summed up how the Premier league has all the power - to Klopp and probably the Liverpool fans beating Arsenal will be more important than the result they got last night (or risking more key players)

Now they have just ended up with another game (and more injuries..)

Thought we played extremely well and deserved the win but a draw is still fantastic.

Special shout out to Noble who was superb all night. Had he not picked up a knock and gone off on the hour I think we'd have won. When he's on the pitch we look so much more robust in midfield whereas Oakley is constantly passed by.

Holmes and Nichols were also superb. Still we have a chance in the replay but at the very least we've made some big money from the cup this season.

Looking forward to Wycombe vs Aston Villa in a couple of hours. Garde better treat this properly as this is one of the rare occasions he has to win a football match until 2016/17.
I fancy an upset however as Villa are already down while Wycombe are doing ok in League Two.

Oh and come on Daggers at Everton. I envy the guys who are making the trip up north. This also has FA Cup drama written all over it.

I'm looking forward to the Wycombe v Villa game as well :bg: Can't be at the match so i'll be watching in my local pub in Wells supping Somerset cider. Would love to cause an upset but with our keeper Matt Ingram suspended and striker Paul Hayes out injured it will be tough, wouldn't mind a draw to be honest for the much needed money that's so vital for a small fan owned club like ours, saying that if we attack from the kick off and unsettle them you never know we could actually beat them if like Liverpool last night they play a weakened side and don't respect us thinking they're going to walk it because we're a League 2 side, whatever happens i'll enjoy the chance to see our players taking on a Premiker League team even if it's one as poor as Villa are this season.
