Yay.....

Well done guiseley.

We had a non-league club either way but it was nice for guiseley to make it.

Their manager (paul Cox) and assistant (adam Murray) were our last 2 managers before steve evans.

Couldn't make it up, right?

Now to do some research

A non league club above your club, despite the massive gulf in budgets. Have a little respect.

Not seen if the other games have been announced, but our match v Oxford City is on BT Sport at 1230 on the Saturday.

You're at home?

What an utterly bizarre decision. If you'd been away I could understand it.

Had they waited a while longer they could have had Woking Vs Peterborough or something.

Still, guess it helps Hardy clear a little more of that massive debt

It's bourne out of frustration that we can never, ever, ever beat Accrington! :mell:

Guiseley will be an interesting game for sure

Chill out.

We have every right to have a go at those little bastards for always beating us.

Guiseley had a man sent off after 2 minutes last Saturday as well. Their 'keeper saved two penalties (the first after the sending off), but lost to a 93rd minute Bromley goal.

We've had some great cup runs over the last few years so disappointed we're out especially with being at home. The strange thing is it's not as though we played shit - it just wasn't our night. The Guiseley keeper had an excellent game - every credit to them.

It's the first time we've lost to a non league side since joining League 2 - hopefully it's a while til it happens again.

When we lost to Tamworth in 2013, that was our first loss to a non-league team since entering the Football League - since then we've lost 3 more times to non-league clubs (the only other time we were non-league and lost to Hartlepool).

Our FA Cup tie with Yeovil is being played on the Saturday at 3pm, thus being the first time since 1982 Vale and Stoke have been at home at 3PM on a Saturday together! (1987 since we've both faced off on a Saturday full stop).

Police having some common sense for once! Only downside is we have to close the Bycars End.

Delighted with the £72,000 bonus for being on TV. The attendance will naturally be down as a result, but at this level everyone would welcome £50,000 bonus, even Moneybags Radford. He can't be happy with an average gate of circa 4300 after spending all that money on superstar wages.

Fingers crossed we can get through for the always exciting 3rd round draw.

That surprised me, I was resigned to a Friday night game. Saturday's much better though as I don't have to worry about the time of the last train. I wouldn't have thought we'll take many fans, about 100.

We are shocked as we have moved every time recently however there is an event on the Friday already (assume Xmas party of some sort) and Aspo didnt want the Sunday with Shrewsbury playing us on Tuesday, although not sure why we couldnt have moved that to the Wednesday!

The Guiseley keeper is very good, played a big part in them beating us on boxing day, surprised no one has taken a punt on him.

We had him and let him go, always thought he was good enough at the time but Russell was established and quality too and expect Jonny wanted to be playing.

If anybody asks you who I am, just stand up tall, look 'em in the face and say
I'm that star up in the sky
I'm that mountain peak up high
Hey I made it, hmm
I'm the worlds greatest

Come on Leatherhead, be the c*** in their jungle. Please.

From what I saw apart from the opening 10-15 minutes and 5 minutes in the second I thought Leatherhead were the better side and deserved the win.

This has been a great match. Oxford City have really excelled.

Almost more gutted for them than I am happy for us, best performance by a visiting team at ML all season.

As for Vale... we’ve started a midfield central three with a combined age of over 100 years old! Pugh, Kay and Tonge... not sure that’s the right decision and looks like we won’t risk Whitfield.

After watching Fylde and Oxford City i'm worried about Leatherhead who will be no pushovers tomorrow, hopefully Ainsworth won't underestimate them and pick his best starting XI.

Pegged back having started second half brightly. We leave four up defending corners and bit us in the arse that time, free header.
