Cardiff away.

What a ridiculously awful draw.

Probably the dullest draw we could physically have got. Played Bradford in all but one season since 2003... winnable if we play as we did against Oxford it we progress but can imagine either us or Yeovil will be busting a gut next week for that.

West Brom at home. Not bad. Probably be a sell out if we get through. Big if though.

Newcastle away, lovely draw. New stadium for me and a great weekend on the piss.

Newcasle is a decent draw. I expect them to play a largely second string which may give us a chance of a draw at least. Doubt the ground will be more than half full though but it could be worse. A lot of other Premier league and championship clubs can get some awful attendances at this stage.

I would ordinarily be gutted about missing out on Leeds at home but "fortunately" we had that tie last season so doesn't feel like such a disastrous loss. Derry is lucky.

I doubt we were too excited when we drew Macc in the 3rd round all those years ago, but look what happened next.

Vale fans calling their tie with us winnable when they’re not even in the third round yet, classic Vale.

Lucky Luton got Newcastle.

Cardiff away is about as appealing as an ingrowing toenail

It’s a winnable tie... if we get there not sure what the issue is with that?

Leeds knocked us out of the league cup back in August, 5-1 at Elland Rd. Should be a sell out at Dave and a tidy atmos. Doubt it will be on tv.

Brentford away for us, most people are pissed off with it but I’m pretty happy. Appreciate that it’s not what the club wanted financially, but it’s always a class day out, we’ll take a decent following and it’s one where there’s at least an outside chance of doing something.

Its the cup. IF we win our replay, then its a winnable game.

To be honest I’m not arsed if we don’t make it! Least interesting tie we could of got! (Suggested we’d end up with bloody Bradford too!)

We’ve won 7 out of 10 away games in the league above you this season, you would have been better drawing us at Valley Parade IMO. We will have to travel to Yeovil anyway, written in the stars.

Not many Coventry fans bothered about Stoke at home.
Most still see Stoke as a much smaller club...

I'm happy with it, they will bring big numbers.

Meh we dicked Oxford, same flip of coin got spunked on by Mansfield, depends if Jekyll or Hyde would turn up... at least under Aspo we’d have a chance... that said Yeovil can have it... rather rest players in that one and concentrate on league revival.

Can see being shite hasn’t dampened your optimism, fair play I say.

Yes you should beat us, but the cup is littered with teams who should have beaten a lower team.

Noticed that our number was the last one to be shown on the 'balls to watch' :hesk:bit on the left hand side of the screen. Because of all those other possibilities in the draw, Gillingham or Carlisle was probably the least interesting of all.

Shame we came so close to drawing Chelsea, but if we had done then Gillingham would almost certainly have beaten us in the replay. At least with no great prize to play for we have a chance of getting through.

It's a cracking tie for you, they travel well and are a big club to draw at home. You're a bit unlucky that there are some other attractive ties out there, else it would definitely be on tv - ours was last season.

I wish you all the best for the game anyway, it would be brilliant if you could put them out and get an even bigger tie in round 4.

Sheffield Wednesday at home isn't a hugely attractive draw but it could've been far worse. They'd bring a few thousand up I'd imagine and a few more home fans might turn up for a decent-sized Championship side.

Hopefully we can overcome Gillingham first though.

With an exception or at a push two our league has been properly done over with that draw.

Really? I’m quite happy with our draw. Probably worth £250k plus any additional TV money.

West Brom home if we get past FGR.

Not a bad draw and being a reduced capacity it will easily sell out. Lots of Exewebbers thinking that Pardew will make lots of changes which will give us a chance.

Still think Forest Green will be tough to get past as they’ve improved a lot of late, so not getting ahead of myself yet.

I wasn't too bothered when Plymouth knocked us out in round one but after seeing how the draw went I'm now absolutely gutted that we ended up missing out on a glamour tie away at Port Vale or Yeovil in round 3.
Fuck my life.
