That’s great news about the Televised game, throughly deserved after the 1st tie and not forgetting winning at Brentford.

FA cup run will end in South Wales but the next round is poor for TV (not going to be picked up) but great for fans . A local trip to Hillsborough is nothing to be sniffed at and guaranteed healthy attendance

Regardless , more much needed cash coming the clubs way

Like the Swansea draw in R4, initial disappointment has given way to 'actually, it's not that bad...'.

If, and it is a huge if, we managed to overcome Swansea, it'd be Hillsborough at 3pm on a Saturday in the FA Cup 5th round, we'd take 5,000, a great day out, and we'd be travelling with a slim but not completely unrealistic hope of progressing to the quarter-finals. I imagine there'd be 20-25k or so there as well (Weds got 14k v Reading on a Friday night in R4) so it'd be a six-figure pay day whatever happened.

Can't really complain too much about all that.

Yeah agreed, more than happy with the idea.

I think the Man Utd/Chelsea/Whoever draw is great for the club but not so much for those of us who go every week. A fifth round tie at Hillsborough with a packed away end would be amazing, but obviously a long way off still.

Yeah it’s not a great draw for Coventry sadly, they’ve not had the best of luck with their ties so far. Notts County’s is good from a geographical perspective but I imagine pretty uninspiring otherwise. Newport’s is shite if they somehow get passed Spurs.

Got 7,700 seats for Wembley at £10 a pop but for some stupid reason they are only on general sale on Sunday. STs get priority on Thurs and Fri and that’s it. Won’t be many there as a result.

Blimey - if we somehow overcome a resurgent Swansea our 5th round game with Sheff Weds will be televised, with a fee of £247,500. Add to that £90k for winning in R4, and next Tuesday's game is now worth over £337k. Think the win bonuses might be upped for this one...

Brighton have finally allocated us tickets for our game. Just 4600 tickets meaning a reduced 2 per season ticket. Will be a scramble for tickets tomorrow.

Agreed. We’ve been pathetic in this entire tie tbh, only for one twenty minute spell have we tried pressing them and making it a game, in that time we scored and created about five clear chances. Rest of the time we’ve been embarrassingly passive and got what we deserved.

Brisley has had a superb this season.

This is on Nolan, fucked with the formation AGAIN. As if the evidence of Exeter and Crawley wasn’t enough to prove that we don’t know how to play 4-5-1.
