Weather for our game tomorrow doesn't look too great. If postponed again, does that mean our weekend game will be postponed to make way for the FA Trophy game?

Dulwich Hamlet? Away!
We need to throw in the towel tomorrow v Burscough ffs

Please feel free to do that! It should on paper give us an easier tie if you do! Looking forward to playing a northern team for a change!

If we beat Concord Incompetent on Monday 21st, and then beat Lowestoft on January 12th, we'll have a home time for Curzon Ashton. TBH if we were to get that far, I'd rather have an away day in Manchester/Ashton. But we still need to win two ties.

We're off again tonight, pitch remains waterlogged. Rearranged for next tuesday.

Edit - this should have been in the tin pot thread, apologies.

No offence intended, it's not your team it's just so many long trips south in this league we were hoping for a home tie this round :)

Dreading the embarrassment of getting beaten tonight.

We have no players.

5-0. Pretty good considering tonight looked like a very possible exit to a lower league side in good form. Nice bit of a confidence boost going in to the Tranmere game. Also our first clean sheet of the season (local fa cup competition excluded).

Alty 1-1 Leamington. We threw it away, that is all. Replay we didn't need.

Fantastic display tonight, showed a lot of creativity and professionalism to see off a team who've only lost once in the league. Clearly we're on a better level with Harvey taking charge.

Five well-taken goals. A speculative effort from Kingsley James while 20 yards out hitting the crossbar and going in. Shaquille McDonald picked his spot to drive it into the bottom left corner once it fell to him for the second. Nicky Wroe was one-on-one for the third, followed the ball as the keeper hit it into the air, and finished from a tight angle. For the fourth, Connor Hughes took it in from the flank, shot from range and an early deflection from a defender's boot made it curl into the top of the net. Then the fifth was a great squared ball from Hughes back to the feet of James in acres of space, who finished with aplomb.

I'm happy as a clam by that, absolutely no negatives. Sure it wasn't played at full throttle, but that wasn't the performance of an already relegated side. It's promising to see what we'll be get from this side yet.

I'm going to mention the elephant in this room with us. 439 at The Shay, 199 at Gateshead, 200 at Guiseley, do even the Tin Potters care about this cup any more. We got more than that for the Unibond Cup in Dog & Duck league. :dk:

Several factors involved I think. Time of year (financial), weather conditions ( will it be postponed), the team you are playing (about 10 from Burscough last night) and the team your club are likely to field (squad players, acadamy etc)

Yep heavy rain predicted for then.
Can't believe moving to the 2nd has been mentioned.
We don't have the second round until the 16th.

Completely off-topic, but please for the love of god, somebody get Alan Long off our official Twitter page. It's an embarrassment.

The FA Trophy still exists? Kin'ell.
