The Lincoln v York tie is a lot closer then it looks on paper imo. York have been improving, have some quality players and recently drew at SB. If Lincoln play a weakened team then I can actually see York going through.

I would say York @ 3/1 to qualify is decent value, and even 8/1 in the outrights is possibly pretty good value too.

Would it shock you if York wanted it that bit more though?

I honestly don't care either way, just thought York's odds could be slightly tempting given they aren't as bad as their league position suggests.

How did the game go at your place in the league a couple of weeks back? Did you batter them or did they deserve their point?

For me and most don't want it?
We are in a massive battle to stay up and last thing we need.worst case get suspensions or injury.
Next Tuesday against southport is our cup final then next 9 league games.
Mills pissed me off not playing weaker side.
Also if get beaten heavily what will that do to confidence.
Only good thing about it is £££ and will just go to pay one of McNamara signings

Mills loves the trophy though.

Chance for him to strut around Wembley and show what a great manager he is to the watching nation.

We were atrocious first half, massively under the minimum performance expectations we have set ourselves this season - reverting to 4-2-3-1 didn't help.

Changed back to 4-4-2 second half, battered them, they were clinging on at the end. If they come out and attack us tonight and we get the first goal, it could end up like November. If they get it, they will revert to a defensive mentality, and it might be difficult.

I still fully expect us to score more than them over 180 minutes, which is ultimately what it boils down to.

I struggle to believe that. They have a massive, loyal fanbase, didn't you see how many they took to Arsenal? They could sell out Kit Kat Crescent by themselves.

Ah right, well it'll be only a couple of hundred short of capacity then I imagine. This is our 9th away game in 11.

Any idea how many you've sold for SB?

Crikey, we've made 9 changes. More than I thought it'd be!

Habergham playing because his cover is a loan player and there's a limit of 5, and Wood playing only because Long is injured. Not a particularly tall or physical side either.

We have a right back and striker playing centre midfield.
Could only dream of changing 9 players,2 of our subs are 16 year old youth team players.
Decent away following

Done well to lose that one after the first half. York 'keeper sounds like he's had a stormer.

Should be a cracker of a second leg, so what does Cowley do? Stick with the 9 changes, stick the first XI or a mixture of the two? I imagine he'll go for the latter with 3 or 4 changes i.e. Arnold, Rhead, Waterfall and Woodyard coming back in.

Farman will be back in, although I'm not sure why he didn't play today. No need for 'keepers to be rested.

But, yeah, I think he'll go stronger. I'm still surprised he made so many changes tonight, tbh.

Slight injury apparently.
1358 there when we had less 400 to sell this morning out of 1900.
The night summed up by two things first the ref warns Rooney one more foul and he'll booked another foul not booked, eventually booked for kicking the ball away! Their keeper dips the ball over goal kick!

Two mistakes from Etheridge means we're 2-1 down now. Bad call to play him instead of Farms.
Not sure how anyone could play blame keeper for 2nd goal, total fluke of a goal.
I thought Lincoln was best team I've seen this season in first half, some of them new players are better than before,
The one thing I'd be worried about is how long it took Crowley to work out York change in formation at half time.Did not act until losing.
What is the brother roll he spent the whole game moaning at assistant ref.
We won't go through but believe we have enough to stay up.big win for us wish it was in league?

Quite a lot of rain forecast over the next 24 hours, is there a risk of tomorrow's game being off? I know you had a game off due to rain recently so wondering how it compares to then over there now.
