Have only given Stevenage behind the goal this weekend, which they sold out today. Last two blocks of the east (the usual away overspill) has gone on sale to home fans. A big crowd in and hopefully the result to match.

Can only see another defeat against Crewe. We will have youngsters on the bench due to the injury list growing once again:
Younger, Miller, Lakin, Biggins and Lavery all out for the season. Taylor only does warm ups.
Williams and Maxwell? Anderson can’t play more than 3 games in a row,Brown 50/50, Nelson injured on International duty, our squad really is a talentless shit show.

Calamity Mitchell
Olowu Anderson/Faulkner Long
Seaman Close Ravenhill Rowe
Molyneux Agard Hurst
Is probably the lineup

Grimsby (h) - another game I can’t attend due to stupid kick off times.

Seems we’ve got Jamie Walker, Manny Osedebe and Matt Derbyshire back from injury.

Adam Clayton and Abo Eisa injured.

4-3-1-2 formation, then.

GK: Harry Lewis

RB: Brad Halliday
CB: Matty Platt
CB: Sam Stubbs
LB: Liam Ridehalgh

CM: Alex Gilliead
CM: Ritchie Smallwood
CM: Manny Osedebe/Ryan East

AM: Jamie Walker

ST: Andy Cook
ST: Dara Costelloe/Matt Derbyshire

Tough game this. Take a scrappy 1-0 win.

19,782 (2,100) - Cook on the scoresheet.

I know a lot of teams ex players have a knack of scoring against them but Andy Cook never scores against us - which is handy as he gets loads of abuse so I guess he would give plenty back if he scored.

Cook’s got a decent record against his ex teams, which helps given he’s played for about half the league.

Seems it’s Bradford fans that are the problem - South Yorks Polis are allowing a Bank Holiday 3pm ko Donny v Grimsby with their angelic fans.

Actually I’m amazed that it’s stayed at that time.

Fair shout!

Hartlepool was brought forward to 1pm due to trouble up at theirs last season.

From what I know, ‘we’ couldn’t give a flying fuck about Grimsby - just another game.

Suppose it has the potential but that’s about it.

You’re not sure I can consider it? Who are you? I can consider it as small or huge as I want.

It’s a huge game because we need to win. I don’t think I’ve said it’s a no contest, just that I think we’ll lose.

If I thought Orient were going to lose would that be viewed as a no contest? Or does it not work both ways?
You said you were 'confident that Orient were going to smash the shit out of their opponents'.

That sounds pretty conclusive!

It's a tough game, and Orient will go in as favourites. Maybe they will 'smash the shit out of us'. But maybe we'll smash the shit out of them. There's nothing to fear in this division, not for anybody. Moxon, Guy, Feeney, Armer, McCalmont (if he starts, which he surely should), Garner, all capable of being match winners in one way or another.

Home to Harrogate. Those down at the bottom hoping for favours from Rovers, may find those hopes have been dimmed by injury to veteran keeper Joe Murphy. Our remaining keeper Hewelt has had his confidence torn to ribbons and unsure we’ve got another keeper registered. On the positive, Hemmings returns from injury, though unsure he’ll be able to last the duration of the game with the high energy style Ian Dawes favours.

You took that as me saying no contest? I don’t even know what to say moonie. I’m bitterly disappointed in you to be honest:dis:

I thought I’d use a fighting analogy seeing as the Joshua fight is straight after it. I didn’t expect you’d take it so literally. Obviously I don’t think Orient are really going to smash the shit out of Carlisle, or vice versa. I do think they’ll win and would not be surprised if we don’t lay a glove on them (another boxing reference there) given our recent form, but it will be a contest I’m sure, we won’t roll over for them and I don’t think they’ll beat us so badly that all our excrement will be left all over the pitch.

Fair enough, just sounded like you were writing us off. I may not have taken it so literally if it had come from somebody else!

Joshua should spark Franklin. Enjoy the o2 - but enjoy Brisbane Road more ;)

These 1pm kick offs the West Yorkshire police inflict on us do not make sense

Not seen any trouble at Valley Parade since dirty Leeds were here about 8 years ago.

I'd like to think we are a welcoming bunch in nearby pubs etc.

As Kauto alludes to I reckon this might be a West Yorkshire Police/South Yorkshire Police thing. WYP and their SAGs have an absolute boner for us for some reason. Not only changing kickoff times but slashing our Halifax allocation last season.

I was thinking about our game last night and I think I’ve talked myself into going to this one, working 12 hours Friday night then my Missus is at work 9AM Saturday morning and I always drop her off so gonna be absolute max sleep of 2 - 2.5 hours before driving.
Ah well fuck it, I’m in. :D
What’s parking like Bradford fans any tips?
Parking wise, safest is the Broadway shopping centre in town, 10 minutes or so steady walk up the hill past plenty of places for a drink. Closer to the ground but in a rougher area there’s loads of street parking if you drive around a bit.

After 5 draws in a row and throwing away a 2 goal lead in our last home game, our fan base are getting twitchy.

We’ve not been as good as we was say 5 months ago, but we still have moments in games where we look like a top side for this level. The pressure is mounting and in truth in these 5 draws we was lucky not to lose 4 of them - last 2 games in the final ten minutes of each game our whole team has crumbled and surrendered late chances after conceding leads so late on, so our players are feeling the pressure.

We’re still unbeaten in 9 games and not lost at home for a long time, but that all has to change eventually - we’re due another loss at some point and whether we go up or not will be determined by if our squad can bounce back or not.

Striker Aaron Drinan works hard, but isn’t a natural scorer and it has to be said, is a rather clumsy centre forward in truth. Charlie Kelman is fast and mobile but very lightweight. Neither are prolific enough to be a sole striker in a 4-3-3 IMO - but this is where we are at.

Yeah cheers I asked on Twitter earlier and a couple of other Bradford fans suggested the same so I’ll be parking there cheers.

So tomorrow we climb Everest. After recently failing to summit K2 and Lhotse, Everest (Orient away) looks an almost impossible task. I hope none of our players are wearing green boots tomorrow!

But while it looks unlikely, there’s always that hope that we can spring a surprise which I’m clinging to as we desperately need the win to keep any slim auto hopes alive and also to keep us in a good playoff position. But being realistic, with the way we’ve been playing coupled with our dire record all season against the top teams, everything points to a home win.

I think Kelman is better than Drinan, though I wouldn't mind seeing Ruel in the striker's role, I think he's our best natural finisher, other frustrations aside.
Hunt will surely come back in to give the back 4 some much needed level-headedness.
Would love to see Ogie start but Wellens will stick with Turns.
Just please no McCarb, Thompson, or mad triple substitutions in the dying minutes...
We should have enough in the midfield with El Miz, Moncs and Pratley with Smyth and Sadlier there for the flair.
Honestly could be any result, Carlisle are no mugs, can see a 0-0.

Carlisle fans - reckon you'll go for it or would you be happy with a draw?

We need to win, so we should absolutely go for it and to be fair even when haven’t won it’s not been for a lack of trying, it’s just been our lack of quality particularly against the better teams.
