Areola? Nah. Cavani is the fucking judas culprit for inexplicably widening his arms and letting Bernardo Silva past him. Such a sorry excuse for a footballer.
In all honesty, Monaco deserved the draw and we didn't deserve to be a goal up. Was at the game and Monaco had their tactics right. I hope they win the league to highlight how shit we are and how more deserving Monaco are this season (65 goals scored in 22 games).

Were they all just PSG and Lyon?

This stat can be explained that we finally have more than one side dominating the league. If we didn't have this one side then the league was won by the best of a bad bunch kind of side (Marseille in 2010, Lille in 2011).

It's been a great watch. Some of the games doesn't make me envy other leagues in terms of quality (Serie A) or tactics (Premiership). We're very fine thank you.

This Ligue 1 season is being very interesting. No PSG domination. Mônaco with a brilliant almost impossible to take their title team. OGC Nice most of the time also was into the title run with Mônaco and followed by PSG but with many silly ties and lost of important players it fell to third place. Anyway I am very happy to see this rise of Nice since last season and this season with the mark of most points got for the club in every edition of Ligue 1. I am not with high expectations of title anymore but we probably go to Champions League and Lyon in the fourth place is still far in the table in terms of points so...

Also Ligue 1 is full of promising youngsters like Mbappé, it's just a pity many of them won't last so much in France. At least Koziello is staying (by now).

Ah good. A fellow Frenchman. Bienvenue.

I admire Nice and Monaco for the players they nurtured. Nice especially did a major scouting work bringing in Ricardo Pereira and Dalbert Henrique who are proving to be excellent wing-backs. The emergence of Cyprien was less obvious but he's been one of the best players of the season. Interesting to see the improvements made by Rémi Walter and Alassane Pléa. Some lovely players there.

I wish people would just stop saying that the players will leave. The way I see it, PSG have a great opportunity to strengthen its squad by stealing players from Monaco and Nice's current squads. It's very simple. It will kill the competition but at least PSG won't spend all that much and will be able to keep those players in the Ligue 1 circuit.

As for Koziello, I doubt he's going anywhere; he's hardly ever played as Favre prefers Walter to him.

Merci!
True, Nice and Mônaco built great teams with a prospect to keep the exploitation in the future. And they're showing french football isn't only PSG. I like Nice's basis defensors but they still have to maturate (their CFA performances reflects it) so Ricardo Pereira and Dalbert were great to stabilish the sector. Cyprien was the player with best performances to Nice this season, it was a pity to lost him until the end of the season. And the improvement of players like Walter and Plea whose have big chances to rise in the team are great things. I can see other youngsters from second team following the same path soon.
I read something about PSG wanting to reformulate the squad to a younger age and certainly the won't miss the opportunity to at least propose great offers to this great generation of french young players and it's a strong possibility to keep them in french soil. But it's hard to ignore all the international targetting and linking from big clubs on them. Anyway staying is a better way to grow than to leave so precociously and face the risks of unfairly not being given the chance to make progress (even most of them being high quality anywhere).

So after 41 years Nice officially will finish Ligue 1 in top 3. Champions League guaranteed.

Balotelli is getting a good average of goals and it's very helpful but as Favre himself pointed he needs to be more participative in other tasks than scoring and movement more. Also there's his thing with cards, receiving them frequently.

He's no Bastia player.

Speaking of Bastia, unreal scenes yesterday as fans invaded the pitch and attacked the Lyon players during their pre-match warm-up! There was another incident at half-time between the Lyon goalkeeper Lopes and Bastia head of security (of all people!). Bastia are going down anyway but I sincerely wish they get severely punished for this.

A guid dram
Saw the first half of Nice v PSG and the latter were all over the shop. Even Balotelli got in on the act with a fine finish. Ended 3 - 1 to Nice with PSG down to 9 men, and Monaco looking heavy favourites for the title.

Just go to pieces everytime we face someone decent. We need to sell at least 5 players in order for Unai to properly build his squad. I sincerely hope he doesn't get the sack.

-Aurier: he insulted the manager last season, cost us the CL exit last season against City and basically gets away with murder every time. Meunier is much better than him.
-Marquinhos: he's been at the club long enough and his mind isn't in it. A shame as he's solid but his versatility is a bigger asset than being a decent CB. I want Kimpembe to be the next Sakho.
-Motta: past it.
-Lucas: never really rated that guy. He can create openings but he's not good enough for a team like us.
-Ben Arfa: he just doesn't fit. His outburst is laughable and further proof than PSG isn't a big club (but are slowly but surely getting there). I think he'll definitely be sold if Unai stays (and I wish he does) but the Qataris may keep him if they decide to give the Spaniard the axe.

I'd also sell Maxwell but he can stay. Valuable experience and could give Kurzawa a kick up the backside when needed. I can see him finishing his career with us and be offered a management position.

More importantly, Ligue 2 has kicked off last night. Nobody really cares about this glorified friendly.

Plus women's euro and stuff.

Hipster

And how was the game? Didn't watch it (wanted to see the Euro Women's match of Germany vs Denmark (not that you care about it) but this was cancelled. Hope I am not a hipster, too :D ) , so I had no footy tonight.

btw: Next saturday is the German Super Cup between Bayern and Dortmund (just for information. Don't know if you care about this)

Didn't watch the game live but caught the highlights thousands of times as the sports channels have bugger all else to show. All 3 goals are gems. Sidibé's chip, Alves' free-kick and Rabiot's header are all quality goals.

The league kicks off Friday with Monaco hosting Toulouse while we're welcoming Amiens (a teeny tiny club despite being a big place) at the Parc des Princes. We should win 5-0.

Barca should sell. 195mill would nicely replenish the side. They should try and be cute and ask for 150mill and Verratti.

I want this deal to happen only for this reason. We are severely diminishing a rival club for CL glory who a month ago were this close to signing Verratti. Funny old game isn't it?
