This is horrendous.

Two just terrible teams playing. Don't honestly think either team wants to be there.

Orient are there for the taking defensively, we've walked through them when we have actually cared enough to go forward. Despite this, our manager decides to be negative and make a substitution to play for a point.

We will regret that and lose 2-1 in a game we could easily win.

1-1 About right, both sides have let in poor goals. Cisse has been shocking for us, yet he scored the free header.

More goals in this IMO - Both sides look suspect at defending and with a bit more care the scoreline would've been different.

We won't score again, we probably won't venture forward.

We've set up solely to defend a point here, our manager has no intention of winning a game we took the lead in.

Our patched up defense is bound to concede again.

Pitch at Vale looks really decent on ifollow and on some of the twitter vids. I was worried it was going to be all cut up with the number of games recently. Mansfield's was horrendous with the weather and regular games.

Guthrie not even in squad today.

Rodney and Swan down the middle, possibly 3-5-2 which is more preferred against the better sides with Hurst at LWB and Wozza in the middle but looks more 4-4-2 with Woz and Hurst wide.

It is really bobbly. Not much the groundsman can do about it at the moment though and to be fair we’ve only had one game called off all season so done something right there.

No traffic cone up front today so feels like we’ll actually be playing with 11 men for a change.

It’s not great, might look it but when you see the ball rolling on it then it’s full of bobbles, it’s like Mansfield or Newport just with grass over the mess!

Watch the goal we conceded at home to Walsall and you’ll get the picture of how it’s playing.

Generally teams that do get relegated to non-league tend to hang about for more than one season.
Your three examples of teams who have prospered since return to EFL show show that up:

Luton Town: 4 seasons in Non-League
09-10 CONF-Nat 44 26 10 8 84 40 88 2/23
2010-11 CONF-Nat 46 23 15 8 85 37 84 3/24
2011-12 CONF-Nat 46 22 15 9 78 42 81 5/24
2012-13 CONF-P 46 18 13 15 70 62 67 7/24
2013-14 CONF-P 46 30 11 5 102 35 101 1/24

Lincoln: 6 seasons in Non-League
2011-12 CONF-Nat 46 13 10 23 56 66 49 17/24
2012-13 CONF-P 46 15 11 20 66 73 56 16/24
2013-14 CONF-P 46 17 14 15 60 59 65 14/24
2014-15 CONF-P 46 16 10 20 62 71 58 15/24
2015-16 NAT-P 46 16 13 17 69 68 61 13/24
2016-17 NAT-P 46 30 9 7 83 40 99 1/24

Bristol Rovers: 1 season in Non-League
2014-15 CONF-P 46 25 16 5 73 34 91 2/24
Prospered "since" their return to the EFL...they have all been promoted from Division Two to One and Luton have even made it to the Championship. I believe my examples of teams that found it hard to get out of the Conference stand...backed up by what you posted about Lincoln.

Guesssing this is the formation

Bench: Norman, Anderton, Hayden, Charters, Patrick, Toure, Walker

Alternatively, Dickenson could be playing in midfield in a 4-4-2

Again, lots of changes, difficult to name a settled squad when we're on poor form and struggling for fitness.

Bench looks strong, worry is we have no real height up front with no cone but pointless lumping it to Santos for 90 minutes for him to head it back away!

Bench looks good for once now bodies are coming back.

Can only think of ourselves, and Brovers who have followed a relegation up with a double-promotion. Usually you either get stuck in the conference, stuck in L2 or both.

We have been absolutely all over Orient so far this half.

I am mindblown how we haven't got a penalty in the game

To be fair our pitch is cutting up now and we have all the mod cons, undersoil heating and the stadium protects it more than most from the elements. So expecting most pitches to be bad. We will see how it plays. Happy with our team. Probably our best XI. Everyone is fit. No excuses

Last one was alright to be fair!

I mean I’ve not quite got over the collapse but at least we got something.

it was, which is why on my reckoning this one will be dull.

probably be 7 goals or so.

much happier now we’ve got upto 40 points though.

No Maddison in the squad. Either injured or his time is up who knows? He just isn't right for this team for me. Certainly not good enough without the ball. On the ball clearly talented but hasn't happened. I'd take Isgrove, Gnahoua, Delf and Half a Lion over him every day of the week. I was so excited when we got him. So underwhelmed

We've changed goalkeepers again. Good to see Cadden back, but Adams still out.

No Callum Cooke for us. Enjoy your three points.

I can't work out how we've not won that.

The penalty is so frustrating considering the penalties we've given away recently, fair play to the Orient commentators who admitted it was a pen. Not getting the luck we need with those decisions unfortunately.

Can only guess there is a strong wind in one direction otherwise with nobody in the stadium there is little to no point in swapping ends before kickoff.

Bolton moving it well but already nearly played themselves into trouble doing it with Worrall nearly taking advantage. If it comes off looks good but can be something to target also.

We got away with that, we was awful in that second half. Lazy performances from number of players who are clearly going through the motions.

Penalty should've been given after Sam Ling and Lawrence Vigourouxs's mess up, can only think the ref sympthaised with Ling who did only have eyes to clear the ball, but clearly caught the man.

We desperately need a new manager and voice, our squad has become lazy and most of them know they won't be here next season.

Shocking second half from us - worse than Tuesday Night.

We struggle on these types of pitches. Vale are pressing us well.
