Deserved equaliser from Aaron Drinan. We’ve run the game since the opener but Shad Ogie should have been sent off. Hopefully we ‘do a Threlkeld’ and drag him at half time.

Clear pen at the Mem and we go 1 up…

Rovers should probably have gone ahead just before that, very frantic end to end game which is lacking quality

0-0 is suppose the most we can expect.

Keith Millen has definitely got us controlling games better, the possession stats are more favourable than they were under Beech, but with the glaring lack of quality in the final third, a draw here and there is the best we can hope for until January. I just hope by then we’re not too far adrift for it to be salvaged.

We rode our luck a bit for the first 15 minutes. Bahamboula and Adams giving us problems, then a great cross by Josh Key and Matt Jay puts us ahead. A few chances after that but Oldham still look dangerous so we need a second for sure.

Robinson though.
Still got it.

He was dreadful wasn’t he… if that’s him pumped up against the club who shoved him with the kids pre season then says a lot about him.

Once they started lumped long balls to him I became quite relaxed about him scoring against us… he can’t be arsed to battle.

Just got in, poor performance first twenty and felt Bradford set up well, felt we got dragged into their style of longer ball play too much and didn’t suit us, especially with their physical side.

20 mins before half time we started to play and looked decent, TC pulling the strings and their keepers made two very good saves from Gibbo and TC.

Their only real chances came from our errors but there were a few too many of those!

Second half was fairly pendulum like, the goal we scored summed that up with some last ditch defending then robbing their lad and Amoo running through, well taken by Wilson at the second attempt.

Didn’t really push on and losing Wilson was a blow, sounds like DC reacted too quickly and admitted he should of waiting 5 minutes as it looks like he was ok. Lloyd doesn’t offer the same quality.

Their goal… poor from us, very poor. Should put that ball in row Z, don’t, 30 yard plus ball in and don’t deal with it.

Difference between us this and in past seasons came to the fore, didn’t let our heads drop and kept going, not sure how Lloyd doesn’t score when he’s only got to slot it past their keeper but puts it wide.

Drifted off then into a point. Probably the right result, felt Bradford set up for a point and got it. Looked a solid side and can tell they are an Adams side, very physical and direct.

Referee was crap, that tackle from Threlkeld is a second yellow and second half can guarantee he walks. We didn’t crowd enough or appeal.

Keeper one I was opposite side, looked high but linesman is in a good position so assume he got a nick on the ball.

Their lad body checked Lloyd a couple of times off the ball… didn’t seem to give us anything really.

Draw fair, felt their keeper had more saves to make and Cov didn’t really have much to do bar the odd punch and the goal but as I said after Mansfield it’s a good sign if we are well below par and still getting a point. Could be crucial come May.

Rovers haven’t had an attack that’s tested the Sutton keeper, who’s seems to have picked up a knock. Visitors head against the post with goal gaping. We need to change things quickly before Sutton go ahead.

I’m amazed Northampton are 3rd based on the performance so far. We’ve been much better IMO.

Penalty is a tangle of legs and the Northampton striker has gone down amazingly well, something Neymar would be proud of - couple of spins in there too. The ref is always going to buy it sadly

We’ve been poor but it was a pen, used his body well and it rolled across and your big lump at the back dived in and got legs instead of ball. Pen.

Define ‘dangerous’. If it’s crossing a ball into the box with one player forward then we’re definitely dangerous. We started will first 10. After that, our usual toothless garbage.

Peter Walton at the game has said that “Taylor was naive to give the ref a decision, but if he was refereeing he’d tel the striker to get up off the floor”.

Considering our defender was facing the other way of your striker, it’s pretty impressive how he’s managed to give a pen away.

If I was the ref then I would give it live tbf, but if you look at it again, it’s a tangle of legs with neither player getting to the ball even without the ‘foul’

Funny because he’s commentating on Radio Northampton and he screamed PENALTY when it happened live

Haha!

I guess that’s the fan Vs the professional?

Either way 1-1 now and as I said I see why he gave it tbf, I would have

We've missed 2 one on ones this game and now Oldham score an unbelievable 30 yarder out of nothing.

Are we actually gonna lose this somehow? 5 minutes of stoppage time...

Big lump clears off the line at the death to ensure 3 points in the gastank

Off the line with the last kick of the game but that was the worst I’ve seen us all season. Crap with the ball, disorganised, no discipline.

Rovers were average but cruised it really, and the ref was abysmal for both sides. Lost control of the game completely in that second half.

That felt like watching us last year, on the tv, playing shite, not deserving anything. Horrendous horrendous horrendous.

Get in! We deserved that.

6 in our last 2 league games with Harrogate away and Northampton at home is bloody good going.

Especially considering we haven’t had a striker playing since 10mins into the Harrogate game due to injuries.
