Shocking from the Vale 20 that, runs into Canavans back and then goes down to try and get him sent off

Had most of the ball but better chances probably fell to Barra. They (Zanzala specifically) are doing a good job of pulling us out of shape with Mellor stepping in to cover Zanzala who is probably too much of a handful for Whelan and then consequently Gibson getting pinned back having to to more of a wing back role in the gap being left when Mellor comes inside.

Happens to be on in the pub so this is the first League Two game I’ve watched since we went down. Surprised by how direct it is, both teams far more long ball than 90% of teams in the Vanarama. Well contested, though.

Zanzala missed a sitter, other than that nothing much has happened.

Sold out the 450 initial allocation down at stevenage so hoping can get 600-700 down there, which would be a pretty decent effort.

Gordon's missed header was a massive chance as well. Thought we were struggling for the first 15 mins, but starting to get the ball out wide.

Worst performance of the season at home but got a point so worn grumble. Annoyed to drop the two points though but losing Wilson killed us.

Think Wilson having to go off was the difference between us winning that and not.

Very good contest though and fair play to Bradford for playing their bit in it. Not the worst advert for L2 that I reckon.

Pleasantly surprised by the attendance given it’s an early kickoff too.

A fair a decent enough point, just shame about the sloppy goal we conceded what might have been.

Port Vale look decent, certainly better than those vegan cheats. But if not for a gift from us they created little except from difference. That Conlon looks very good at this level.

Without wanting to sound too biased to my own team I don’t think there’s a better midfielder in the division. Technically he is just incredible really.

Bradford will be top 7 before long though. Was impressed with how they went about it today.

It’s against the clichés and what you’d expect, but that game was way more physical than anything I’ve seen down here for ages.

Rovers pick almost the same side as ground out a win at Crawley, with those who starred in the Pizza Cup midweek overlooked. Don’t think this is going to be pretty…

I agree your midfield were a class above ours tbh, but only area of the field you were.

For us that’s 5 unbeaten now including beating Swindon away and draws against Forest Green, Exeter and Port Vale. So we can match any team at this level. We’ve had a lot of injuries and they’re coming back now so I do think we’re in a false position. Just need that better decision making in the first and final third at times.

No idea why we persisted with the hoofball for the first hour today when we have nobody up top capable of winning a header. No surprise we were better when Angol and Cooke came on and we actually got the ball down.

Maybe biased but I think we had the better chances but some of the finishing/decision making in front of goal was criminal.

Still yet to see anything other than a bang average side in this division (us included). January is huge for us. Three quality players, some luck with injuries and we've got more than a chance of top 3.

Decent game, that. Point a fair result. Both sides organised but much better at the back than going forward, which makes them two of about 12 teams that could finish anywhere between 2nd and 13th.

We were poor. Probably a fair result after all. I expected us to lose so I’ll take a point. We’re not going to keep winning and scoring loads of goals every game.

We never really kept the ball to sustain any real pressure on Bradford. Too many aimless long balls down the line. The subs also didn’t work at all.

Bradford are a decent team and have a decent account of themselves.

We take a point and move on.

No Darren Pratley in the starting line-up today. We’ll miss his shithousing in an away game, I reckon. Not overly confident of getting a result.

Our tactics were embarrassing second half, no disrespect to Carlisle but they need points and confidence in the League and we should have been at them. Two poor sides on the day massively short up front.

Songo runs like he's had concrete implanted into both arse cheeks. He looks soooo damn slow. That's a few games where he's made a critical error now. Shouldn't be playing.

We deserved a point. Threlkeld is one player I haven't taken to. He always saunters around like he can't be bothered. You watch him in home games and he offers no width because he barely goes forward. He's another who deserves a spot on the bench. Gilleead doesn't do enough for me either and I want him dropping because I can't seem to spell his name. Eisa was on the bench today; it'll be nice to see what he can do. Has he played this season? I'm sure his last outing was against Forest in the League Cup. Also Vernam: He's got the better of every fullback this season but his decision making and end product are awful.

Take the point and move on. Thought it was a fairly even game and as I thought before the game, the occasion got the better of us. We just didn't pass it all that well. Credit to Adams, he set up Bradford well and it probably contributed to one of our poorest performances.

Having said that, both teams had chances, so on balance a point was probably fair. I'd actually accepted a defeat before, so a point is a bonus.

The quality this year has been poor across the board and i’ve seen some real dross games, our 0-0 with oldham was mind-numbingly bad, i really can’t see i’ve seen a decent side, the closest was bradford when they won 3-2 at our place but they’d been poor for a while after that.

Not a bad game but really lacking in attacking quality from either side. We were at least pretty well organised and played much more passing. Until his injury, Clough got probably more touches in one game than he has the rest of the season combined.

Both sides had chances they really should have scored from. Barra most in the first half, us in the second (meaning I didn't get a good view of any of it)

The theme of our game so far has been we give it away and then Rovers lump it over our back 4 to be chased.

Not sure how you felt but it went quite quick for a 0-0.

My first away game in the League, so despite the drabbish game a decent day out nonetheless.
