unreleased book excerpt spoilz
Jon dies
bran will warg drogon, incinerate hundreds of thousands of wights and carry jon snow across the zombie wasteland that was once king's landing and into the red keep to his final showdown with night kingthat was great but you just know it will all end in anti-climactic bullshit with john killing the main king fella at the end and the rest of the zoms falling dead 'cos he held power over all of them'.
Book spoilz:
if jon survives his stab wounds? if they're even doing that mutiny plotline in the tv series?
would anybody even give a fuck tho.
Haven't you just done this?bran will warg drogon, incinerate hundreds of thousands of wights and carry jon snow across the zombie wasteland that was once king's landing and into the red keep to his final showdown with night king
meanwhile sansa has her feelings hurt and margaery pulls cersei's hair. varys is still in the whorehouse.
PS don't ever quote something that's got spoiler tags. fml
ok, i'll let you do it this one time to see what i was getting atHaven't you just done this?
I'm still trying to figure out where I've seen her before!? Didn't even catch her name, so annoying. So that's what they've been saving all that budget for.
Episode somewhat marred by it taking me 20 minutes to figure out what wor wildling lassy is out of.
One of Old Nan's tales if I remember correctly. Either that or Maester Aemon.Question for book readers -
Was the Night King ever alluded to in the books, or was he completely introduced by the show?

Not seen that show, but it did help me figure it out.Katrine out of Borgen.

White Walkers were awesome!
Old Nan says he was a Stark
I completely missed that, then. I really want to get around to a reread but I'm waiting for a release date for TWoW. Anyone tried reading AFFC and ADWD together? I know there's a way of doing it which almost makes it one huge book.
To be fair I missed pretty much everything that wasn't spelled out for me on my read through! rereading only made me appreciate the books more and got me completely hooked, the amount of foreshadowing and detail is ridiculous.
When I finished the latest book I remember immediately reading internet forums etc and have spoilered myself on loads of things which I kinda regret, but then we'll see the ending in a couple of years anyway so....
Those last 20 minutes were awesome.
Spoils for Jockers:
It's almost certain that Olly will do the stabbing judging by the scene with Sam about the "greater good" today. Kit Harington has signed on for two more series' so will either survive it or be resurrected, either by Melisandre or the Night's King himself who will attempt to make him commander of the White Walkers.
If The Night's King did that who would make up the three heads of the dragon?
Errr yes. The man is a beacon of hope. The one shining light that honesty and integrity can prevail in such a cloak and dagger, deceitful society.
all that and a character inconsistent with the internal logic of that universe. he has been a fucking pious bore from start to, a hopefully forthcoming, finish. the only thing he has going for him as a character is his outcast status as a bastard but you just fucking know that he will be the 'annointed one' come the end of the story.
Way different. I'd go into specifics, but I don't want to spoiler the books for you if you plan on reading them?I don't know why I clicked on the spoiler tags! Fucking stupid. Question for the book readers, how different is the show from the books right now?
Question for the book readers...
So far I've not really had any problems with the show in terms of plot holes. I mean yeah flying dragons and fire ladies are a bit far fetched but that's the allure for you.
What I can't get my head around is this Sparrow business. How were they portrayed in the book? I just find it absolutely ridiculous how a militant group of fanatics can be given power and have such a hold so quickly that they are able to lock up the queen mother, the queen and the queens brother without being absolutely butchered. Especially now Cersei is in. Surely it wouldn't take much from the Kingsguard to just wipe these clowns out.
Secondly- Jaime in Dorne. Wtf is this about. Ridiculous plot, ridiculous fight scene against the sand snakes. No time for it. Loved dem boobies though.
